Prayers said !!!!!!!!!!! What was the cause of death? That is so young :(

  3. My stepson was 12, so that helped he could speak for himself. I would study all of the laws of the state and find a good lawyer. We called around and met with different ones. Probably wouldn't hurt to seek thier advise. I would fight as hard as I could until I had him. I am so sorry ya'll are going through this :( , I know how bad it feels, you feel helpless.

I will keep ya'll in my prayers!!! But definitely talk to some lawyers, I think it should be fairly easy sounds like ya'll have a good case. All we had to do was to prove her unfit. Try to get all the proof you can. If you want a good lawyer to talk to, pm me, and I'll give you our lawyers #. Ya'll will probably have to go to court in the state he lives in. We had to go to Carrolton, b/c that was where he lived. If you have any other ?'s please feel free to ask. ;)

  4. My husband has a son that lives in another state that he pays child support for. We went and visited today and my husband wants to hire a lawyer and get full custody. Anyone ever went through this kind of experience? Is it hard to get full custody? His living conditions are bad!!

My husband and I got custody of my stepson Jan.06 . His living conditions were not good either. How old is he?

  5. Were they your friends? Prayers for all!! :(

Yes, thanks for your prayers. They are having the viewing tonight, and the funeral tomorrow. I know the family also

are greatful to everyone. Just keep remembering them.

  6. Why do 8,9,10,etc year olds need a cell phone? Who are they calling and from where? This is a fad that makes no sense. Can parents not say no to anything?

These age children are not in situations that they could not use a land line to make calls. What are you parents doing? Give them somehting to have when they are older and really need them. And we wonder about the youth today. We should wonder about the parents of the youth today.

Mine got cell phones when they started driving, when they needed them to contact us and to keep in touch with us on where they were going.

What else do these young kids get nowdays? What will you do in future years parents? Do they get a car when they turn 13?

    :D :D Amen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I totally agree!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D :D

  7. Please remember the Hurt family when you pray, they are from N.C. It all started 2wks ago. Carol Hurt wasn't feeling well, so she went to the doc. They admitted(sp?) her into ICU, they couldn't find out what was wrong, until wk before last. She has Lung & Liver cancer & is suppose to start treatment right away. Well she died Fri, she was in her early 50's. She had 2 girls 25 & 21,the 21yr old is suppose to get married in 2 wks. They were a really close family, and a Christian family, so I know God is with them. So if ya'll would just please remember them when you pray. I couldn't imagine losing my Mom, or my spouse and know I would want everyone praying for me. Thanks!

  8. Have you seen this? Look at the dress this dad created to discourage his teenage daughter from having sex...

    Way to go, Dad!!!

Could you imagine seeing this on the red carpet runway...LOL  :D

  9. I just moved and had to turn right around and go on a business trip so havent gotten everything set up yet. Has anyone ever heard of a company called Community that picks up your garbage? I think that's what I saw on a neighbors can, but I can't find their number in the yellow pages or online. If anyone knows their #, I'd appreciate it. I have a bunch of trash that needs to go out.

    Thanks!

    Shannon

My brother-in-law owns CLAYTON SANITATION , Alot of WADE customers are using him.

If your interested the number is 770-445-8521 :)

  10. It's in the same building as the Physician's Med Center.

As for the papoose in the above post, we were told that they may have to put my son in a papoose because he was so completely freaked out by the whole thing. They were, however, able to keep him happy, occupied, and subdued without it (though they did use the laughing gas).

Since he just had his tonsils out, and I had to hold him down for them to get him to sleep, I have a feeling he will have to be papoosed next time simply because he has an abject fear of doctors now. Good times.

Thanks I will give them a call :)

  11. Dr. Shealy in Cartersville. My son was scared of the dentist after visiting a certain ped. dentist in P.C. He was tramatized after a "papoose" was being used on him. Needless to say, we left after a few choice words!!!!!!! Dr. Shealy is great and my son no longer has anxiety about the dentist!!

I be it was the same place I useto work, that is why I am being so particular now.

  12. Um-- no way to let either one of them go to their boy/girl friend's house with no adult supervision. You are a parent and it is your job to hold on, there is a differnce between holding on and smothering. Doesn't sound like you are smothering, sounds like good ol' fashioned parenting to me and there needs to be more of that going on. I always tell mine until you get a job and your own place to live - you have no rights only privilages as you earn them; I am still going to be held accountable for what I knowingly allow you to do and I don't need anymore to be held accountable for. Good Luck and keep up the good work.

I totally agree!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Stay firm in your decision, you are completely right.. :D :D
