  1. Doug Sanders has done a lot of work at my home and at my mom's home too. I highly recommend him.
  2. I'm sure Judge Beavers will get some scrutiny from some in the media for imposing the death sentence, but slitting the throat of a child deserves the death penalty....not to mention shooting the child's mom. I wish we could hang him high instead of giving a lethal injection. I know Tate will be just as dead either way, but I'd kinda like him to feel the noose tighten around his neck.
  3. We've used Moore's in Dallas, Great folks and reasonable priced. I'm glad your teen is ok.
  4. http://www.wsbtv.com/videos/news/grand-jury-releases-finding-of-cobb-county-police/vFhBq/ The Cobb County Grand Jury issues an eye opening report. Many experienced officers have left Cobb County because of budget cuts, furloughs, lack of merit increases, lack of equipment, etc. I wonder if the County will address the problem.
  5. I had a torn tendon surgically repaired on my ankle. Apparently there was a longitudinal tear in the Peroneal Tendon in my foot. The podiatrist surgically repaired the tendon with metal sutures and cleaned up a little arthritis, etc. I have a cast up to my knee that will be coming off next week and I'd like to know when I'll be walking again. etc. Does anyone know how long these take to heal? The doc said I'd come out of the cast and go into a boot for a period of time and they'll evaluate further as needed.
  6. eating hot peppers always opens my nose up. bring a box of kleenex and eat some raw jalapeno pepppers. it works! your nose will flow like a faucet for a while.
  7. Neal Boortz always referred to him as The Gargoyle.... It wouldnt surprise me if there was an attack on South Korea by the North within the next couple of months. Those North Korean gooks are crazy!
  8. Get plenty of rest.... That stuff drains your energy. Good Luck and keep up posted.
  9. Who am I? I destroy homes, tear families apart, take your children, and that's just the start. I'm more costly than diamonds, more costly than gold, the sorrow I bring is a sight to behold, and if u need me, remember I'm easily found. I live all around you, in schools and in town. I live with the rich, I live with the poor, I live down the street, and maybe next door. My power is awesome; try me you'll see, but if you do, you may never break free. Just try me once and I might let you go, but try me twice, and I'll own your soul. When I possess you, you'll steal and you'll lie. You do wh
  10. Today, as we gather with friends and family in the comfort and safety of our homes, we give thanks to all those who, in the service of our country, are far from home, facing hardship and danger. On Thanksgiving, we celebrate the bounty of America, but let us never forget that our peace, prosperity and plenty have been hard earned by countless men and women who have put country before self. 11. At Halloween, many grocery stores won't let youths buy eggs. Have you ever gone egging? Ever been egged?
  12. This column appears in the Marietta Daily Journal and is RIGHT ON TARGET. How could anyone vote yes after reading this? http://mdjonline.com/view/full_story/16055354/article-Dick-Yarbrough--From-runway-lights-to-little-trikes---here-comes-TSPLOST?instance=lead_story_left_column Well, I hope everybody is happy. We are the proud possessors of a $7 billion TSPLOST plan that includes $948 million for Cobb County. Now all we have to do is give it the ol’ thumbs-up next year and it won’t be long until we will see buses rolling from Acworth to Midtown Atlanta. Excuse me. Someone is tugging
  13. Check the Sara Babb library also. Not sure what days they are open, but my son had to work several days there.
  14. Some punkss knocked my mailbox off the pole and into the ditch. They must have used baseball bats because there were several folks in my neighborhood who got hit the same night. It was in the fall close to Halloween too.
  15. I was thinking of taking my wife for a day or two up into the mountains, maybe travel up towards the Blue Ridge Parkway into the Shenandoah Valley. I was wondering if you had ever been up there and could recommend a nice long scenic drive. We love affordable restaurants, parks, scenic views, etc. We’ll probably go in October on a Sunday, Monday & Tuesday, but haven’t made any plans as of yet. Also, if you have any links of places to visit along the way, that would be appreciated too. Thanks in advance.. CRB
  16. He was found guilty and court after court has ruled his sentence correct. The evidence has been reviewed over and over. The media is putting smoke and mirrors out there to try to further their anti-death penalty agenda. Bottom line is he's guilty and will finally be put down. Adios Troy.
  17. I must be a glutton for punishment…. I went to Brandi’s World Famous Hotdogs in Marietta on the Church Street Extension and I put the hot sauce on extra thick on my chili dogs and chowed down. Now my eyes have been watering up and my nose is running like a faucet. Aaaahhh….
  18. We were there, sitting on the hillside in a lawn chair near the pirate ship. The cannon firing off will nearly make you spill your coffee. It was a great game for Raiders fans.
  19. Folks are so silly. Aliens? yeah right! We have plent of aliens hanging out on South Cobb Drive and Austell Rd.
  20. I don't look for Mark Richt to get fired...yet If he goes 7-5, he might keep his job, but a record worse than that could certainly be reason for replacing him.
  21. https://paulding.paytaxes.net/customer/enhanced_property_tax_search.php My tax bill went down!
  22. Sure, times are tough, but the number-one status symbol you can acquire in our society is not a fancy car, a yacht, an airplane or a multi-million dollar mansion. That number-one status symbol is a long-term marriage. You can't win one. You can't buy one. There's only one way to get one... and that is to work extremely hard for decades. Through lean times and not so lean times, my wife has been there right by my side. We've hit many bumps along life's highway, but difficult times have actually made my marriage stronger. So to all those folks who are struggling financially or st
