  1.

Ah other sites have left the extra words let off. Which I think this site added on to make him more like Obama. I found a few with the " or less" added to the statement and a few without it.

Either way I guess the GAO notes 50k as middle class.

I guess I am lower middle class then.

Did you even read the article you provided the link to? It says that Romney said middle class is an income of $200,000 to $250,000 a year and less. He DID NOT say it is between $200-250K.

  2. And I thought most of you couldn't figure that out.

Thanks for saying what we all should be saying.

I also think 50-150k is middle class IMO. That's both incomes as a family.

But I also think that earned income credit is BS. No one should get more back then you put in the system. It's total BS and if you get 3-5k back because of it...your a slug and feeding on those that pay taxes. I hate that program.

Half this country right now pays no income taxes, so where do you draw the lines to determine the middle class? If you take the middle third, that means half of that "middle class" would be paying no income taxes. That means one-sixth of this country would be deemed "middle class" but still would have no income tax burden.

At some point, we're going to have to start asking these people to start paying some kind of taxes, as if we raised taxes on the rich to 100 percent, it still wouldn't fund our country for an entire year (which shows how how deep of a hole, or how big government has become, with the help of Republicans and Democrats).

As tough as it is, this country has to learn that many of the things people consider necessities are really luxuries. Cable TV is a luxury (the library is FREE). Homes can be a luxury. Nice cars are a luxury.

Yes, I believe at some point, people are too poor to be required to pay income taxes. But when half my fellow countrymen aren't paying their fair share for needed government services (roads, schools, police and fire, etc.), that's a problem.

  3. I agree with you LPPT. Most folks don't know the full story and I feel that surpip is getting the short end of the stick.

The developer took the land... out right period. I would have gone and grabbed a bobcat and ripped the road right up and dumped it off my land. They had no right to take the land. I also think I would have had a manure plot on on the edge of the property with huge fans blowing it over to the new housing. Surpip tried doing things the legal way and it has cost him a ton of money.

The county and the developer are using the county money and lawyers as money pit that everyone is losing.

I would had had my land surveyed and with the legal points from the county placed and dug the crap / road etc off my land. See what the county and developer does. What can they do? he is just using his land as he sees fit.

You know as well as I do that the amount of the suit is to make sure that the lawyer gets paid for his time. Depending on how complicated or simple the case the lawyer tries to estimate the amount of work, sets the settlement amount so that his % covers his cost.

The Morrisons did not say we want 1.5 million, their lawyer whom they trust sets the amount before he will take the case.

The settlement would not cover the lawyers portion and allow them to repair damages.

These cases are all about the lawyers, I think you know that.

We have a great justice system in America if you can afford it.

  4. You know I hope you are right... but the will of the people never came to play with their law suit.... did it?

So I hope she is able to get a little pay back per se .....

If I was still in Paulding county I would vote for her. In a heart beat.

She will have no ability what so ever to fire the county attorneys if she is elected. A legislator votes the will of the people of their district at the state level.

If she is good, which I know she is, she will listen to the people of her district and vote the way they want her to vote for their benefit, not the benefit of special interest groups when there is a conflict between the 2.

  5. I will agree it seems the itemized bill should have been included along with some other documents.

It also appears that those with the most amount of money can only win in court.

And the age old saying is that you can't fight city hall is prevailing.

I do like that she is running for office and is in effect an end run to clean up the county government.

Either way I hope she does get elected and fires the lawyer firm that has been fighting them. I would like to see her clean up the county government also....

Could make Paulding county a interesting item in the papers if she gets elected.

  10. My question is why can one party have a issue question asked like this and not another? The question will be used towards a end item that is tainted. So why allow it. It is not a balance vote on the line item on the ballet.

Why would a question for Republican party voters in the

Republican primary appear on the Democratic primary ballot ???

  11. There is a right to life vote on the Republican ticket and not the Democrat ticket...

Why are they different? This is not right... And yes I have problem with it.

This needs to be changed and I don't care how much it costs. To me this is a slated vote and tainted vote.

  12. I did not see any pictures of driveways or garages done....

Whats a ballpark cost? I have a side entrance driveway and 2 car garage... I hate to say it, but would expect it to be expensive....

Of course the more square footage you have, the better the price will be. Give us a call for a free estimate, or PM me your number and I'll call you.

  13. Full version or student teacher... Might be interested if full version
