it is kinda outta the blue with him, I have to give credit to his teacher though. he requires daily AR testing and he finally picked up Harry Potter(he has never watched the movies) and he has loved it. He will be so proud I have his books for him when I pick him up. My 13 yo DD has become a book lover as well, she has been reading the Cirque De Freak(sp?) series and she started Twilight last week and is already on New Moon so this is a pretty big deal for me. sounds like fun, i think all the ballgames are gonna rain out so we will try and stop by -
I was in need of some books for my son who is 10 and has become a happy reader(meaning i do not have to threaten him to get him to pick up a book ) and I made a call to the Bookworm and she has most of the books he wanted and has me on the list for the others. I cannot express how much I love this bookstore, they always come through for me when I need a book. Thank you Bookworm!

I was just wondering what others do for their kids as they get older, my kids are 22,16, 13 & 10 (and my oldest is married). I don't want to put a ton of candy, maybe some gum & reese's (DD would rather have beef jerky and hot fries ) anyhoo, i would love some suggestions for basket ideas

JR Ward's series is pretty great. John Mathew's book was a letdown for me, but she really turned it around with the good Dr.'s book I really love Gena, her tales of an extraordinary girl is my favorite. the LoU series is pretty dang good also,oh and I like Kresley Cole a lot too

so far this month I have read 4 books. the most recent Black Daggar book and a couple by Gena Showalter(Lords of the Underworld)
