That could very well be what happened. Infants and toddlers after a while respond to pain by sleeping. So if he was cold or had fallen he may not have heard people calling him.
-
An article I read said he was found in a clearing. That seems a little strange considering all of the searching. I am sure more details will come out later. I am sure they are giving the family time for it to sink in and be able to handle hearing the details from the media. He was out there a long time and a lot can happen to someone so little to make it hard to find him.

This article has pictures of the kind of terrain I was describing. There were probably many of these that had to be searched. Pictures I can't find any articles yet that mention him being found in one.

It wouldn't be dangerous for an adult. Many times leaves have gotten caught on the small roots and you don't see it until you are on it. They don't tend to be real deep they just go back into a hillside sometimes seven to 12 ft. I stepped in more than a few playing in the woods as a kid. Sometimes we would stick our heads in there looking for animals.

I have been through the Jackson Tn. area hundreds of times. Memphis is southwest of there. It is very flat until you get to Jackson where the hills start. Where it is flat you will often come across gullies 20-50 ft deep. The ground is composed of sandstone and clay. Sometimes the water will go under the ground and create huge hollowed areas under and around tree roots. It looks like a cave but it is all soil and a little gravel. They can cave on top of you like deep ditches and holes. They can also be crevices and the ground crumbles and falls down after you in them. He is so little he could

Here is an update Noah went missing on Thursday, January 14 as he, his grandmother and sister walked through the woods near their home. I find this story very odd. Toddlers can slip out doors quietly and wonder away. They can also cover a lot of ground. I can not imagine how a toddler could get so far away under these circumstances. The only thing I can imagine is falling into a crevice and being knocked unconscious or as it is eluded to being taken and someone covering his mouth. 2 year old's are very vocal when it comes to discomfort, he should have still been within hearing dist

It was coming down hard a moment ago with some drizzle.

I use whole romaine hearts as wraps. You just roll a slice of cheese and your favorite lunch meat together. The romaine leaf is like a little boat. You get plenty of fiber from it. Believe it or not the most fattening thing in lunch meat are the chemical preservatives. We have good choices now. If you want to add salads such as egg, tuna or ham chopping celery into them adds a lot of fiber that offsets the calories, sweet peppers also help. Not sure if you like them but you can add some more things likely the tiny corn on the cobbs and water chest nuts, I use balsamic vinegar to flavor them. I

I love this idea. You have a great variety. If we all tried to get in as much nutrition as in fruits and veggies as we need in a day we would actually be stuffed. I see you have a lot of fiber too, high fiber fruits and veggies are freebies because we burn so many calories digesting them. I love apples, orange slices and grapes with cheese, I snack on that a lot.

I had to grocery shop today. We were out of cheese among a lot of other things. I went to Ingles to get a couple of pot roast, then Krogers. By the time I got to the car I was in so much pain. Put the groceries away and laid down for a few hours. I can't remember when I have ached this much. Not sure if it is a sign of bad weather or just old age. I still think we are going to see more ice than they are saying. Ground is cold and the storm is coming from a cold area of the country.
-
So I am keeping track of the weather on TWC. I guess I have lived long enough to read the signs. Freezing weather for days. Raining coming from northwest rather than the gulf. I was seeing an ice storm. The WC obviously not. Now the local channels are saying so. I think they are underestimating this one. I also think they are late on it. Stay tuned folks I think that the rain will cool rather than the usual rain warming us up.

All the shooting and target practice has slowed down up here with the cold snap. We hardly ever have a day go by someone is not blowing those things up or target shooting. It can get annoying after a while. It causes the dogs to have anxiety when it is close and loud. I have started a next door group and people are asking about why it is every day. I guess the guys playing don't realize that for those not into it, it gets old after a while. The perks of living in the sticks I guess.

Does Anyone Know Of The Shooting At Cherokee/Cobb County Line

There was a body found in the median on 75 up there. -
When you look at countries all over the world you see what difference a tenth of that would make. People are starving with no means to help themselves. You see the commercials begging us to send money. We are deporting south Americans running from violence, spending millions to do it. The billions going to middle eastern countries are to protect money interest, specifically oil. Most of the money goes to allies of OPEC. Remember me saying that the Arabs getting off their butts was a game changer. They are also spending billions to stabilize the region against terrorist. I am constantly

I always loved him. I first saw him before I knew what rock music was. I just watched his last video. It is haunting.

Looks like we could be seeing snow/ice storms here very soon!

I like one good snow, and see everything pretty and white for a few days. After that bring on spring! I am itching to get out in the garden and play already. -
I don't guess Merkel thought about how well these people can assimilate in western culture. There are so many feel good stories out there of people embracing each others culture and everyone lives happily ever after. It is BS our culture is hardwired along with our personalities. It is the filter in which we process so much of what goes on around us. In true German form, with enough will we can make the impossible happen. We had plenty of problems with mass immigration in this country. We just forget. They say we are a melting pot, that becomes true most of time in second and third generat

It is not uncommon to see typo's. This one struck me as just plain odd. The article is about a shark tank in Japan. So at first I am thinking an interpretation mistake. The I realize that I have only heard southerners say this. So was the article written by someone with southern roots? Still I can't imagine an American journalist making this mistake. Perhaps it was interpreted by a Japanese person that did not recognize this was not the correct past tense of this word. "We have almost no knowledge about (the great white's) nature, so although it died we would like to share what we

One thing that stood out in the poll was minorities having a brighter outlook. I am not really sure that minorities is the correct term any more. I do know this segment of the population perceives themselves as be historically being marginalized. Either this president has made them feel they are no longer marginalized or is they have begun to see themselves at least in the same boat and sinking at the same rate. I think the poll goes much deeper than political outlook. It deserves a deeper look than just fitting the pieces into the framework of political rhetoric. One of the big differen

I didn't really want to say that. Strep can also become life threatening and should never be taken lightly. Developing neurological symptoms after being diagnosed with strep is a medical emergency. http://pandasnetwork.org/understandingpandaspans/about-pandaspans/whatispandas/ All parents need to be aware of PANDAS.

"Military age men" at San Diego's southern border

I found this article this morning interesting. You would think by many of the memes that we do nothing about illegal immigration in this country. This does not look like it to me. Another thing is the perception that they are milking our welfare system. You don't make this kind of money by sitting in a section 8 apartment collecting food stamps. What is disturbing though is these billions of dollars are most likely ending up in the hands of corrupt public officials. http://news.yahoo.com/us-raids-illegal-migrants-alarm-central-american-nations-235853061.html The biggest- 10 replies

The headache and eye pain are not a common viral symptoms. If vomiting started after the head and eye pain or the onset was at the same time it is cause for concern. If over the counter meds aren't helping with the headache you should be concerned. I would take him to urgent care asap if he were mine. The headache and eye pain are neurological in nature and that is always a red flag. Even if it is a virus, attacking the nervous system it is cause for concern.

The cost of living which includes taxes is what makes me the angriest. I don't know how some people get by I really don't. I know they have to eat a lot less healthier than we do. I don't know how some afford to drive and maintain a vehicle. We can't continue to pay the gaps with tax dollars. It is like bailing a battle ship with a tea cup. Something has to give, the cost of living has to go down or pay has to go up. I don't like looking around and seeing how bad off so many people are. I don't feel like I am better than them, just more fortunate most of the time.

I don't agree with this observation in the context that women in leadership positions are only there because they have agreed to play by the rules that men have made. I honestly don't believe any women have made it to powerful positions that have been willing to play by these rules. I am talking about women changing rules and is there a possibility of a better outcome. We don't know because we have never had a global majority of women leaders. I don't see how they could screw the world up any more than it is now. I also don't recognize the likelihood that we could, by electing one leader o
