All gone here too. The 15 minutes of watery sun sun melted all of it. The flurries are gone too. I was getting a little concerned about my dentist appointment for a while. Glad its gone.

Ok crazy weather. sun just came out while it is still snowing lightly Only in Georgia!

Big flakes are turning the grass very white up here. Road and driveway are looking wet. The radar looks like it will keep it up until 12:00 or 1:00. I was a little skeptical when they said it would miss us, because it usually does the opposite. If they say we will get it, we get none, if they say it won't reach us it does. They did not expect it to sink this far south, there is plenty of it coming all day the question is will it keep coming this far south even after 12 noon. I guess we will see.

Snowing steady for a little while now. The roofs are white along with the flower beds. I am surprised that we are getting this much!

A very fine sleet and snow is falling up here. My mom use to say it was the most dangerous kind because people didn't take it seriously enough. The roads may become slick and because it seems to be so little hitting the windshield people are not cautious when they see it. Starting to be able to see it on the ground and porch so be careful if you come this way. It is more sleet than snow.

Thank you Dana for the prayers we are going to need them. -
I hate you are going through this, but it is good to hear from you. I will say prayer that you finely get the care you need and hopefully enjoy good health again. We have been riding this treadmill with my dad the last year. You are still young and new and better therapies are out there. You are missed around here.

I called him last night and he was in good spirits. I was a little surprised. He told me about all the issues with the lymphatic tissue. He talked about like it was an inconvenience. I felt much better knowing he was not very worried. I did realize what my sister was saying in that he does not realize what this change means for his prognosis. Basically his lymphatic system is haywire and it will continue to produce this fluid in over drive and can not be stopped. He is very concerned about draining his lung. I reassured him there would be lots of lidocaine, if not I will up there for any oth -

Thank you, that is wise advice. It is my sister that is the most concerned. I always try to feel him out when I am there. I am usually the one that pushes about him doing what ever he can or wants to do. He is wasting very quickly now, down to 125. It may not even be an issue by the time I get there. He goes next week to have some of the lymphatic fluid drained from his lungs. Unless there is a bad turn I won't go until next week late. He also won't take the pain meds if he is alone, he is very afraid of falling on them. That is another reason I need to be there so he can get some relief. My 3 -

I usually do my break downs in private. Hubby has started to read the clues well after all these years. The breaking down alone is not as easy as it once was. I hardly made it through the radiation treatments every day along with doctor visits on the same day. My poor sister cleans a church and handful of private homes, all while taking him to appointments and treatments. I worry the same thing will happen to her with getting sick. I would appreciate prayers for her too. -

I was just thinking about you today and when you lost your father. He raised a good man. Thank you for the prayers. -

Thank you I will look for the book. I know it must have been hard to let ventilator turned off. Even when you know it is the right thing to do you feel like you are choosing the moment and no one can ever be completely comfortable with the decision until it is over. He has often said that he has fought for us. He knows his death will cause us pain. He has also taken one of my troubled nephews under his wing and he wants to continue to be with him as long as possible. My sister that does most of the care giving is exhausted and stressed. I have known for a while that she will feel a large am -

Thank you all for your kind words. I think I will be the one to bring hospice in. Dad will know at that point. For now he is refusing pain meds, he hates them and I think fears them also. I will check the library for books, I just hoped someone especially liked one to recommend. The role reversal as they get old and fragile is never easy. I know that he needs me in the role of taking care of things and making decisions. The point has come to where the suffering is going to get worse. Most of us will go through this with a parent. I certainly know I am not alone. I consider many of you to -
I have sad news. It looks as if my father is in end stage with his leukemia. His spirits and outlook have been pretty good the year even with the radiation. Just a few weeks ago he was still talking about the summer and doing the flea market. My sister has communicated that the doctor is in some ways still allowing my dad to hope. In his defense it is obvious that the doctor has a deep affection for my dad. The result of this however is that my sister feels that it is not fair to my dad to not be preparing him and giving him the opportunity to prepare. She does not have the heart to do

Here is your answer about a vote. Government operates within a bubble. In that bubble are rules, regulations and laws. Those who know this best use this to control. When you put things to a vote you give up that control. in a case like this (remember the school bond) you can literally campaign for your side of the issue. Like most campaigns it is highly likely that the side with the most money will win. Within the bubble public money is used through lawyers to win. The other way you will need private funds to campaign. Those that believe their way is the best risk losing their own money if th -

There is a carpet place on business 6 that has a dumpster out front that is always full of scrap. I would just tell them what you want it for and ask if you can take some of it.

The wind has changed direction, it is now coming out of the east. I wonder if we are going to see it freezing to the trees sooner than predicted. -
They also had to check every sink hole and wash under the trees and creeks. He was so small they couldn't just walk by one and not check. That was why I shared about the terrain. You would have been able to cover more ground otherwise, it must have been devastating to find him on open ground.
