Why stop at teachers, we have decided that gun ownership is a free for all that allows us to defend ourselves. What if an armed teacher was not in my kids class when they were threatened at least my kid would have a fighting chance by defending himself. For sure nobody would bully him.

Does the dude really think he is making a case against tighter gun controls. I assume he thinks that many of us feel safer that people like him are fighting for our 2nd amendment rights. He does not go as far as to say exactly where he is going once he and his fellow defenders arm themselves to the teeth and go. I think people feel threatened by the language of Biden, he was very clear with the word banning. I am not sure what that definition involves. Will we stop the production in this country or just selling them? Do we ask people to turn them in or do we actively search for them? Banning something is very serious. I have been going back to this thread over and over wracking my brain. I have now come to the conclusion I am just an odd duck. I like discussion, we watch or listen to a lot of discussions by others, we even read them in editorials. Discussions with real people are an opportunity to learn new things. It is also a good exercise for our minds, we don't get that by listening to others discuss. It helps us to discover what we want instead of simply accepting what others want for us. It certainly forced me to delve deeper into my own thoughts about living in an armed society.

Actually a better representation of the issue would be the Tulsa Oklahoma riots in 1920. It shows just how little power that local officials have over a well armed citizenry. It is very disturbing to see what can happen, These people felt they were in the right and there was no stopping them short of killing them. Most importantly it did change the way I view the world.
