I thought it was hilarious watching the dad trying to move this huge stick out of the way this morning as Mom was eating. Then fuzzbutt was biting on a smaller stick and Dad moved that one out of the way too.

It's dried up blood. She was feeding Fuzzbutt from the Coot she caught yesterday, and their was blood getting on her beak as she was trying to pull the feathers and then the meat off the bone. If you watched yesterday, you could see the blood all over the meat as she was feeding herself and Fuzzbutt.

Mary Anne Reid Hi all..I really think its a Ustream problem, Not a Berry College problem. Lots of Ustream cams I watch are currently off line...I'm still trying to get more info. Correct It's Ustream. It is down on cams everywhere and Social Stream is down everywhere too.

I looked earlier and saw fuzzbutt head and it looked like he/she was sleeping. Now, the camera is off line. I hope all is okay. I know this is going to sound crazy, but I took it hard when Blondie's duck's eggs didn't hatch, and now I will take this hard if anything happened to the egg or fuzzbutt. That owl, or anything else better not have done anything, but then again, what can we have done about it. I wish both eagles where there at all times, but I know one had to do the hunting. I get so upset when it comes to animals, critters, etc... I guess, I love all living things.

I'm sorry this happened to your daughter. I hope she will be able to recover her losses soon, even thou it will be expensive. I know how sometimes you are in a rush, and do things absent mindedly, or you have so much on your mind, and you are bound to forget something. When I go to the convenience store, it amazes me how people leave their vehicle running to go into the store and they can be in there any where from 10 to 15 minutes. Sure, they are keeping an eye on their vehicle, but they aren't as fast as they think they are to get to it, if someone wants to take it.
