I think the wreck happened around lunch time but it took a long time to clear everything up. My daughter went by and said the little black car had a blue tarp over it. She said it really looked bad and her thoughts was that there was a fatality. Prayers for all involved and their families.

Your right Millcreek, I just was told this. My husbands co-worker knew the teens. Sad two young lifes lost. Im not sure who was in the other vehicle and I was told it was a head on wreck. Prayers for everyone involved.

Were two teenagers killed in this wreck? I saw on anothrr site that a teen male and female from Paulding died either last night or early this morning.

It amazes me the people who know nothing about the airport being commercialized. I spoke with a neighbor yesterday who does a little work for the county from time to time and he has a family member who works in a county office. He kept telling me that all they wanted to do is to be able to land corporate jets and we wouldn't hardly even hear them. He had no ideal they were wanting to bring in jet liners or that we are in the impact zone. He wouldn't say a lot after I kept telling him they aready can land corporate jets but they want to bring in 737's. As he left he said it wouldn't surprise him if they change the name again and change it to, "David Austin Airport."

Everyone that attended this meeting and hoped to learn something should remember one important thing. You heard one side of the story. And only what the folks with either an axe to grind or had a political agenda wanted you to hear...
Your right but video tapes and paper trails don't lie. Does it upset you to know that Blake gets paid two checks from our county? It does me, considering our police officers are here to protect us and they have to work two jobs because our county can't pay them a decent salary.

And just to clarify, if she was promoting her website, I never went to it and do not intent to view it. The best way to get the facts is to be at these meetings and look at the board members faces. Most of the time facial expressions tell you more than words.

No, if watch the ENTIRE video at the 38:45 mark it becomes the Patti Smith show and she proceeds to make it nothing more than a vicious rant and attack against our elected officials. She is doing nothing more than self promoting both herself and her website. She is a true EMBARRASSMENT!
This we agree on. Both times I've seen her speak I thought she was overly dramatic and was not impressing but I focused on the item every tax payer in Paulding County should focus on. It should upset every tax payer that our county attorney can go to Howard Maxwell and request the IBA bill to be changed and our Commissioners were about to approve it without having any ideal what the wording of the new bill is. These men were elected to represent the best interest of the citizens of Paulding County. Can you agree, willing to vote on something you have never seen is like us having blind men leading us. I think this whole thing needs to be thoroughly investigated.

Ours increased again. Wouldn't have hurt my feelings if mine had decreased. We are at retiring age and don't intent to sell so we would be happy to see our taxes going down not up.

Was the lawyer you were using in Marietta? Sounds just like the one we used several months ago. He kept wanting more money and making promises to retreive a portion of our money after we all settled but now won't return calls or emails.

Just spoke to Lori. Their on their way to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. They have two truck loads of toys and colected over $3000.00. They bought gift cards with the cash to be given to parents that need help. She said one truck has fourteen big black garbage bags full of toys and the other truck has eighteen. Thank You Man Made for all you have done to help these kids have a smile on their faces. Love all you guys!

I know I should have posted this earlier but for those who would like to help make a child's eyes light up, please bring a donation to one of these toy drives Man Made Band is doing. Tomorrow morning they will be headed to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta to donate everything collected. Here is what I copied from their Facebook page:

I remember when the company Carruth and his wife ran sold. I have a family member who knows the Aiken family well. Let's just say things happened with the sale of that company without letting some people know who would have fought to keep the company. This all happened around the time Thomas Aiken passed away. Thomas was very much loved by this person, who loved to spend time sitting around talking to him. I totally agree, I want to hear more from JK Rogers.
