Raymond was My grandfather. I Know i will miss him very much. and in my heart i know he is in a better place. I only wish i could have spent more time with him, getting to know him, and Listening to stories. i wish i could have been as close to him as my nephew and neice are with my mom.

  2. I'm glad that they finally put up guardrails by the swamp. A few years back my dad was on the news when his truck slid on ice on the road and caused him to almost crash his truck in there!! :o

Call me crazy though, but I think that the swamp is a little underrated. I know that if you drive by it on Nebo road (if you're heading towards 92) that if you look to the left it's not that pretty but if you look to the right, through the trees, it is very pretty! (at least to me it is). We forget what a natural wonder we have right in our own backyards. Think about all of the wildlife this place probably holds (gators, snakes, beavers, etc..). It would be nice if they could create some sort of park or some place where people could safely go to fish. Maybe with nature trails with the little signs that tell you about the animals that live there.. just a thought

YaY!!! Guardrails... You know, I have a friend whose mothers Fiance, before she met her husband of course, well The Boy was 20 years old and was driving to see the girl, my friends mom, and It was raining really hard... His car got stuck at that swamp because of the water overflow, and it was swept away into the Swamp... He was stuck in the car and couldn't get out... He died on his way to see her... and it is very sad... So Guardrails are a very good thing!!!!!!!

  3. It would be nice if we could have a nature park kind of like Sweetwater park (located in Douglas county) in paulding county. I know that when I was a kid I was a nature finatic.. and still am. All that I am saying is that it would be nice to have one in this area since it is full of wildlife. To those of us who have lived in this area all or most of our lives, it's easy to take it for granted. But people who don't leave near here probably think that is pretty neat. Just like people who have lived near the Amazon all of their lives probably think that it is just just a place that they live nearby..

The best way to explore wildlife is to start in your own backyard..

I think that is a great Idea. I too Love going out and exploring nature... It's amazing seeing everyhting God Created. I Lvoe Going to sweetwater when I can, but it's so far away. It would be really nice to hve a place close by to go to... :)
