sometimes that is a good idea. maybe your parents have a good friend who they can trust to handle all of their legal work after they are gone. I took me 3 long years to get my MIL's will probated.. I had to fight everybody and their brother to do it, but I did it, they all hired lawyers, (different lawyers) and I can honestly say I did not spend one penny fighting them all. it was just heart breaking to know that my MIL had done everything she could to help me while she was a live making everything legal, and then some act like complete idiots after she was gone. I will never forget

Our mail lady is awesome, but I can tell when she is not running her route... we get everyone's mail except ours... and we are a *Drive* and then there is a *way* so I do not see how it can be confused LOL

The ole saying is, you always go through something so that you can help someone else later on who may need help. I have had my share dealings with wills, the good, bad and the ugly, and the most horrible things you could go through. not with my Daddy but I was the executor of my mil's will and that was horrific and the truth is no matter what you do to try to help your loved ones after you are gone, there will always be something or someone who does not won't to act right.

I will pm the member and try to get it back. soon, if your daughter is under age, you may want to consider guardians for her, so that she will feel better about it, when my boys were little we had paper work drawn up to have someone be legal guardians for my boys, of course they are over the age now, but it made us feel better knowing that my boys would go to someone who we trusted and who loved our boys, and we knew would take care of them.

My question is .... was there a law broken when the sister knowingly denied the existing will?
