The Endless Yard sale will pick up some items it depends on how far they have to drive. Pm her and she can tell you more about it. The clothes been closes at 1 or 2 in the afternoon. so the op could have been trying to drop off way before dark.. and since it is really close to a Dallas elementary school and on the main street the police can easily see the building. so they may have just been riding by.

You can not donate to the clothes been if they are closed, to many people were leaving garbage there so they stopped all donations unless they were open, take your items to the plaza, there are 2 thrift stores there.. one you can leave your items behind the store under a shed they have.. that is Birdmom's thrift store. the other one is The Endless yard sale. I think they have to be open for you to leave donations also, you can pm her on here and ask her.

The place you are referring to belongs to the Martins... and yes those big containers are used for a lot of things, water, recycled oil etc... back last summer when the county was putting restrictions on watering, people would buy them and store water in them to water gardens, flowers, etc... The bail of hay was put there during Halloween to sale in case someone needed it for hay rides, or decorations. (some people paint pumpkin faces on the big bails of hay). but I do agree looks like neither are gonna sale so time to remove them.
