    we still have a land line... because we have a fax machine we have been checking in to the straight talk home phone, (my husband has a straight talk cell phone and we love it) but until we can find a way to use the fax machine without a land line then we will stick with that.

    I am sorry to hear this about your mom... I know you love your mom dearly... I would make visits to the nursing homes without notice (if they still let you do that) I personally do not have a certain nursing home to recommend but take your time and check them out. Good luck to you...

    I bought a new laptop back a couple of months ago and it has windows 7 on it, it is a Dell, I am happy with that and probably will not upgrade to windows 8 ( I am not good at change)
