Oh boy..

I claim 0 all year so they take out the most they can so I am guaranteed a refund. My boyfriend will be claiming my daughter this year, so i have no dependents. However, I am told I am supposed to claim one (as myself) if i claim 0 during the year. My question is, when i do the tax calculator on hr block's website, when i "claim 1", it gives me the child tax credit. That doesn't seem right to me....what am i supposed to do? I assume when i actually file it will ask me what i claimed during the year (the calculator doesn't ask that) and when i say 0 then claim myself it will work out? Help ??

My comp was acting up on christmas eve. It wouldn't read a memory card or a disc, so i restart it from the start menu and it fails to reboot. I continued to get a black screen with things saying "windows didn't start successfully. Recent hardware or software change may have caused this." I finally get it to come out somehow. Well it's still acting up (real slow, which it always was anyways) but now it will randomly start playing things out of my speakers when noone is even on the computer. Help? What do I need to do? Preferably a method that doesn't mess with my files.

It's sad that noone ever pays attention to alarms anymore. They exist for a reason, and to think the entire floor ignored it is just sad.

Specifically speaking about people with tattoos, i don't think the judgement is the issue but more so that the general perception is they are a bad person or trouble maker. Which isn't the case the majority of the time. I think it's more of an issue with stereotyping than it is actual judging. Idk if that makes sense in writing..it always sounds better in my head.

I did explain the entire situation to the office as well. The lady I was speaking with was just as concerned as I am.

I have an issue. Here goes. Saturday I receive a call from my mom who tells me she received a call from a doctors office saying my daughters throat culture had come back and she has strep. Problem #1. I did not take my daughter to the doctor, so ok, i think they obviously just called the wrong patient and i need to call them back and make them aware so they can get in touch with the correct person. Problem #2. It wasn't even my daughters doctors office.....it was a clinic up in Gainesville, Ga that i have never heard of. Here is what is bothering me..........normally
