  1. I have been so excited to make cheesecake for Thanksgiving (particularly for my daddy, it's his fave). But i have lost the recipe i usually use. :glare: I don't want to just google one bc i had made that one before and knew it was good. Anyhoo...anyone have a good recipe? Please provide size of pan too so i know which one it's for. I have the ones where the side pops off, idk what they are called.

    Thanks ahead of time!

  2. Romance products are very popular among adults.

Brown bag and Slumber parties are more popular than you might think.

The adult movie business is a thriving Internet business.

As long as the outside is done in good taste why shouldn't the county collect the tax dollars.

These products do not cause deviant sexual behavior nor do they encourage promiscuity or adultery.

They are marketed to couples for the enhancement of intimacy.

    Get 'em girl ;)

I personally am excited and will be visiting soon!

  3. Hubby and I are so bummed....He was one of our favorites. :(

I do believe I heard he was going through a divorce, and has a son......I couldn't imagine losing a parent, especially like that. :(

I saw d's post this morning and had to look him up bc i didn't recognize him by name. I liked that guy, really sad .

  4. I am trying a new recipe again tonight.......wish me luck!

I don't know what it's called, a friend just told me about it.

You marinate chicken in anything you want. I will use bbq thinned with a little dales or worctershire (sp). Then you dip it in batter, she stated it said any kind of batter. She is going to use egg so i guess i will too , unless you guys have suggestions. And then you roll it in crunched up bbq chips! Yummy!

Ok...again..i'm not a chef. So any advice or alterations to make this better would be great! :drinks:

  5. so... what do you stuff it with once its flat?

Anything you want really, i always use pepperjack cheese and crushed pineapples. Tonight i am just going to use cheese and wrap it in bacon and brush it with bbq sauce.

It's one of the VERY FEW things i can make that's worth eating. :drinks:

The plastic wrap will prevent a mess from the splattered chicken pieces on the backsplash and for 2' around where you are pounding. Invest in a good mallet which has a flat side and little projections on the other side.

Take your time and start at the thickest area and work your way out towards the edges.

I think i read that in a previous post too, this must be the secret i'm missing. :clapping:

  6. You try butterflying the chicken ?

I think so, is that when you slice it open leaving one side in tact? That makes it thin enough but then it seems harder to roll bc there is no symmetry. Or maybe the one time i tried it that way i just had jacked up chicken. :pardon:

  7. When i make stuffed chicken i pound and pound and pound it and it never seems to get as flat as i need it. I am able to roll it ok but it just seems like it would be easier if i could get it thinner. Is there a secret?

I have also tried just cutting it up leaving one side in tact but that seems to make it hard to roll because it's all uneven.

  8. I use italian blend, mozzerella and ricotta (I mix the ricotta in the sauce).

Always put a little sauce under the first layer of noodles. No burning of noodles this way.

I also prefer the oven ready noodles. They just work better and taste the same or better.

I should have put the ricotta in the sauce..it wasn't very easy to spread.

I put sauce on the bottom but not much so it wasn't really runny all over the pan like i think it should have. been. Oh well. :pardon:

DBF used my honeybaked ham gift certificates today to buy dinner for tonight, so there is no way i can screw that up! ^_^

  9. sounds great let us know how it turns out

The bottom layer of noodles was burnt :(

I think next time i need to make my sauce runnier. It was too thick. I could only get the bottom layer of noodles aand then one more in it so DBF had to unlayer it and redo it for me. I had to much sauce in between each layer. He laughed at me because i got so frustrated. He said "how many times have you ever made lasagna?" i replied with "this is my first", so then he laughed harder saying "it takes practice babe."

Sigh...so hopefully next time will be better. I do think i will boil the noodles first though, i think it will be easier to layer that way.
