  1. This is a description of the book, The Emotion Code: In The Emotion Code, renowned holistic physician and lecturer Dr. Bradley Nelson skillfully lays bare the inner workings of the subconscious mind. He reveals how emotionally-charged events from your past can still be haunting you in the form of "trapped emotions"; emotional energies that literally inhabit your body. Dr. Nelson explains clearly and concisely how trapped emotions can create pain, malfunction and eventual disease. In addition, trapped emotions can exert a dramatic effect on how you think, the choices that you make, and how

  4. Here are several in a large Holly. I've also seen dozens in Bradford Pear trees:
  5. Cedar Waxwing. I sometimes see them in flocks. Did you know? Cedar Waxwings with orange instead of yellow tail tips began appearing in the northeastern United States in the 1960s. The orange color is the result of a red pigment picked up from the berries of an introduced species of honeysuckle. If a waxwing eats the berries while it is growing a tail feather, the tip of the feather will be orange. Here's a photo: http://www.birds.cornell.edu/celebration/birds/bird-guide/cedar-waxwing
  6. Thanks. I've only eaten there once several months ago. Do they have a veggie plate? When I ate there I had the Veggie Lasagna. I don't remember if I had a salad or vegetable with it.
  7. I only eat vegetables without meat broth, bacon, etc. How are theirs?
  8. They have a vegetable plate. I've only eaten there a couple of times though and didn't like it that much. Cracker Barrel in Douglasville has veggie plates. They mark on their menu the ones with meat seasonings. Their mashed potatoes, cole slaw and whole kernel corn are pretty good and vegetarian.
  9. Where is that? Do they have veggies without meat broth, bacon, etc.?
  10. When I was a child our elderly next door neighbor had an orange tiger lily. It was orange with black spots. I was always so disappointed any time the man that mowed her yard cut it down. Here's what it looked like: http://www.stargazerperennialscatalog.com/Lily-Tiger-Lily-Orange-L-Tigrinum-Splendens-Per-Large-Bulb-SPB0064.htm

  16. The UK has made changes. From the story: It's so modest - that in Great Britain the National Health Service decided to dramatically revamp the way these drugs are prescribed. It did so after commissioning its own review of clinical trials. Tim Kendall: We came to the conclusion that for mild to moderate depression, these drugs probably weren't worth having. Stahl: At all. Kendall: Not really. http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-18560_162-57380893/treating-depression-is-there-a-placebo-effect/?pageNum=5&tag=contentMain;contentBody
  17. Did anyone see this interview on 60 Minutes? (See video below) Do antidepressants work? Since the introduction of Prozac in the 1980s, prescriptions for antidepressants have soared 400 percent, with 17 million Americans currently taking some form of the drug. But how much good is the medication itself doing? "The difference between the effect of a placebo and the effect of an antidepressant is minimal for most people," says Harvard scientist Irving Kirsch. Will Kirsch's research, and the work of others, change the $11.3 billion antidepressant industry? Lesley Stahl investigates. ------
  18. Check the label. Usually there is information about who to contact if you have a question; often a 1-800 number.
  19. Sometimes people ask you to respect them too much---to the point where you would be disrespecting God (and what is right).

  22. The ones I bought are from Florida. The label says Astin Farms, Plant City, FL 33567. After I tried them I asked my husband what he thought and he said they had very little flavor, too. They were attractive though.
  23. Thanks for the responses. My husband listens to them and then feels weighted down with their problems. I'm wondering what to say and do when they say that they need money to pay the rent and if they don't get it they and their wife and baby will be put out on the street, etc., while knowing they make poor decisions with any money they get (see my first post). Also, this is several people, not just one, but they all do the same kind of things.
