This article was in Sunday's AJC. Asa Griggs Candler V is quoted as telling a lawyer "'I don't have any money.'" The article mentions that he still plays golf. I wondered how he pays for his current expenses. Does anyone know? If the article says were he lives I missed it. Does anyone know? The reality is that the pageants start at a really young age giving awards for "Most Beautiful," "Most Lovely," etc. By their vary nature they are about comparing one girl to another and another---when all have their strengths and talents. Many mental health professionals will tell you that making comparisons is detrimental and a quick path to an unhealhy self image.

Thanks. She posted that the dress was a great buy for someone at $700. Apparently it cost more originally. I didn't see it being special though. It was regular length with a ruffled bottom with some bling at the top.

I've been seeing threads about toddler pageants lately and was wondering about the costs: fees, etc? I don't like the idea though and I only have dogs so won't be entering anyone. How early do you start seeing the butterfly caterpillars? I usually see them on the passion flower vines late, often close to the time of a frost in the fall. How many host plants do you have? I would like to have more. I have the wild passion flower vines, and parsely, and I've had bronze fennel at times.
