Not even close to what I said, again more spin from SOLO. Been there, done that. What I stated, and let me be VERY CLEAR, is that LAWS are in place to protect people from harm. If someone wants to marry their sister by all means - go for it - but there needs to be a law to help protect those that can't protect themselves from harm. In this case the person being harmed would be their off spring. Same concept would apply to those that want to take more then one wife. If they do so without informing the other wives, it would be considered fraud and illegal. Let me try to use a different

That isn't even CLOSE to what he is asking. He isn't talking about being gay as a birth defect. Let me help you. If Couple (not you) XYZ knows there is a 90% chance that if they produce a baby it will have down syndrome and they have a child anyway should they be charged criminally, or held responsable for that childs well being?

You don't read very well do you? ....and you never answered MY question.

"My group" could you let me know who "my group" is? So we aren't allowed to have opinions? You are really going to claim that you don't voice your opinion? PLEASE explain how my opinion that laws are written to prevent harm to others (actually not an opinon, its a fact) and that gays should have the right to marry is the opinon of a bigot? I also answered your question when I said NONE. or did you just skip over that? You can keep attempting to pant me and "my group" (whoever they are)in this negative light by calling us bigots etc. "We" are wrong and "our" logic is wrong, despite bei

I know your MO on this board to take an argument or debate, turn it to a Strawman, twist words in a way to make the other poster look bad. The bold is another example. You are just so darn cleaver and so smart no one can see through it, right? Obviouslly as an Uncle of a severally autistic boy, as a friend of a girl born without a hand and as a business man that spends hours, and $$ on helping many youth based organizations such as St. Jude, Boys and Girls Club, Local Stuff the Bus and Coats for Kids campaigns I have no issue with any of the kids that are here on this earth. HOWEVER, You an

Armstrong was the best cheater in a field full of cheaters. The French were pissed that he turned their premier event into a kids bike ride for 7 years and have gone after him while ignoring the others. Somehow they have enough influence to get other groups involved as well.

Of course not. SCIENCE however has proven that the off spring of relatives are at an almost 100% risk factor. You are smarter then this argument, or at least I thought you were.

laws are made to prevent harm to others. no law should be passed that would allow harm to others. the offspring of a brother and sister would be crippled for life which = harm, which ='s unlawful. i love how folks like to dumb themselves down in defense of a defenseless position.

Very sad story and not trying to be judgmental, but....

I was very lucky to have a dad that had high performance cars in the garage, My first solo drive was a 1972 Chevelle SS. One of my first cars was a 25th anniversary Trans AM, I bought it, and I paid the insurance but it was all with my Dad's blessings. The first time I took it to the track he was in the passenger seat with me. My Dad had a Cyclone? remember those, one of the fastest vechiles ever made. I got to drive it often, took it to Homecoming my Senior Year. My kid sisters got to do all the same stuff. One of them wrecked his 67 vette (not her fault, a drunk hit her after he crossed the -
In my opinion it should be any consenting adults where the marriage causes no harm to others including potential off spring. I really don't care if some guy wants to marry 15 women as long as they are all aware of each other.

Everything 80s is coming back. I'm holding out for parachute pants.

So as we sit here and talk about gays and read people quoting scripture, those of you who feel it's incumbent upon the US Government or state governments to outlaw the civil rights of gays, why aren't you following the Bible when it says to mind you own damn business? Best thing I ever learned from a man 10x smareter then ANY of us. Stop trying to enforce what we "think" is God's Law and live your lives how they should be according to our beliefs. The rest will sort it out. Oh, and GuardDad the point of the topic is not propaganda. It's to prove a point, the same point the pastor w

1 cigar a month isn't going to cause anymore damange then a trip through the fast food drive thru. I can't stand extremist doctors. I'd have gotten a new one as well.

Your jelousy is showing.

Your post? The rest of this makes no sense at all.

I agree. I feel the same way about Silence of the Lambs.

This isn't a liberal or conservative thing. Its a human rights thing. There are just as many gay republicans as there are gay democrats. Or did you not know that?

So those born with an attraction to the same sex should never have sex? Because that works so well for the Catholic church, no problems there at all.

Nightmare before Xmas. Or is that an Xmas movie? Either way it is one of my all time favs. I agree with a lot of the ones you have all mentioned already but I will add Seven to the list as well.

If we limited discussion to only things everyone agreed on all we would talk about is the sky being blue and the grass being green. My opinion on a lot of things has changed over time, here's hoping some will see the light on this issue.

Then there is the real classic... Badge? You got Badges? I'll show you badges mother bitch. 99 cents, here are your badges.

I keep forgeting there are folks out there still stupid enough to believe people CHOOSE to be Gay....you know beucause they like being picked on in school, beat up for no reason, not being able to marry who they want, having to hide who they are. Makes a lot of sense for someone to "choose" that way of life.
