It's actually a clip from Transfomers....I think you can get it on NetFlicks. Thanks. I will keep this in mind the next time you jump to conclusions about my views on any subject.

neither. never said I was against guns or money. not sure where you would draw that conclusion from my post. Oh, Wait. I forgot that you can't have a middle ground on Pcom. Everyone is either extreme right or extreme left. I've stated over and over again where I stand on the issue. I would like to see guns treated with respect for the deadly tools they are. Not banned, Not controlled, but respected. Frankly, we don't do that as society. We treat guns as play toys and I think that is part of the problem. Kids grow up not respecting guns, but think the harm they cause can be undone - like a

Or you can just buy it. There are several legal brands of moonshine in all flavors at most liquer stores now. Ole Smokey is my personal choice. The Cherry's are great. http://www.olesmokymoonshine.com

All true, but I think the vast outreach and ease of which hollywood etc. reaches the masses has a little more impact then the fact disputes were settled with duels in the wild west. No, Hollywood didn't inspire it. Money did. The building of the railroads and the gold rush.

You have to be kidding. If she is that sensative after a concussion to a bell how does she deal with the other noises like cars, honking horns and the noises cash registers make. I assume this is a joke. If it isn't you need to get her checked out by a better doctor. I have had several concussions from sports, and NEVER, had that level of sensativity.

Winner.....and I think if the OP put aside his anti-gun bias this is more in line with what the topic is about. As a society we are obscessed with guns, death and violence....and then we wonder where people get the ideas for this kind of stuff.
-
I admit I can't spell, or type very well, big trucking deal. Care to actually discuss the topic?

Thanks for contributing to the topic. that was very insightful information. I guess when you can't argue against what is presented the best thing to do is point out spelling errors! You so Cleaver!

As a society we are. It's not hard to see or admit. Look at how many TV shows, books, video games, websites etc. are dedicated to guns in this country. I think that is the biggest issue, and the biggest way to help curb this issue, make guns "less Cool". I'm all for having guns for ANY reason you want hunting, protection or just to fire at safe legal targets - but American is 110% obsessed with guns, and these kids and wack jobs feed off of that. Well, they did ban it and it didn't work. Just like banning guns wouldn't work. Now, as for cars lets treat guns like cars. I'm all for that

GM to buy back 5.5 Billion worth of it's shares from the US

WTH is a Darth Sideous? -
Even if there was one school shooting a day for 5 years less then .0025% of the population would ever have one where they or a close family member was involved per an interview I heard on Fox News the other day. Doesn't mean we shouldn't have common sense laws in place to prevent them. I'm 100% for guns and the right to own, but now a days you can't allow kids to have weapons in schools.

Really? And what happens when some smart ass brings the gun and the other smart ass brings the ammo? Sorry but the one place there should be a zero tolerance rule for guns is a school.

Not at all if you read the articles. Plus it's still better then the money that would have been given away on the unemployment line - you don't get ANYTHING back on that. -

???? You do understand that the bulk of both auto suppliers and workers for GM are NON-Union right? Most suppliers are small companies. -

....Normal bankruptcy would have bankrupted thousands of suppliers etc. Why is it folks don't get that this isn't the same as a Delta Airline type issue? -

I was thinking the same thing. Hope these folks don't eat Breakfast Sausage. Now, off to McD's. I try to limit my fast food so I only buy one of these a year....but I look forward to it. It's my Xmas gift to myself. Ok, First they are only a DOLLAR this year....AWESOME. However I think they changed the sauce.

We have been down this road. The Bankruptchy would not have had much of an impact on GM itself, but would have put HUNDREDS of their suppliers out of business, leading to record unemployment on top of already record unemployment. -
Say what you will but the bailout is working. Kept tens of thousands out of the unemployment line and GM trimmed the fat and is paying back their debit. I for one am glad my family's jobs were saved, and so was one of the most iconic American companies. http://media.gm.com/media/us/en/gm/news.detail.html/content/Pages/news/us/en/2012/Dec/1219_gm-ust-stock.html

My thoughts exactly. It's like they are trying to sell everyone everything all the time. Chester I would have just kept walking.

Interesting question I heard on the news this morning

Good grief. You can't even quote the right post when responding. Nor can you read. I didn't call you a name, I told you what to do. Given you brought my mother into a conversatio about school shootings and asked if any of her children survived the asshole comment was pretty kind don't ya think? I mean you are what you eat, right? Don't get pissed because your post are on the same level as a used panty liner and then you get called out for it. (to help you out you will notice that I did NOT call you a used panty liner, I said YOUR POST are the same as one) -

The map is the same no mater where you pull it from. Unless you want to claim one of those shootings didn't happen?
