  1. I know I'm going over to the Greenbrooke Community to take M. Trick or treating, but was thinking about other n'hoods..

Where would be a good place to go?

I'm not in a n'hood that I"d trust just going door to door in the entire place.. the ones I know, fine, but the rest... .

  3. when you feel like a smoke, take a shot of bourbon. I haven't tried this, but I have a feeling it may help you not to care about smoking.

    :D

I used Chantix too & today is my 4 month anniversary being smoke free. I had my last cig on day 8 of being on Chantix. Check out their website at www.chantix.com There is some pretty helpful info on there & also after you get the prescription filled, they offer you online support.

Until then...lots & LOTS of sunflower seeds, carrot & celery sticks... ;)

  4. I'm with everyone else. We have used them for the past 4 years & I don't have a complaint yet...through all 5 of our pets being patients there! Dr. Tanya is my favorite!! She is so very loving to all my babes! We recently saw Dr. Pam (Dr. Tanya was off that day) with a very sick baby & she was just as caring & informative as Dr. Tanya. The entire staff has always been wonderful!!!

  5. Ahhhhh...much better. "Embroidery hoop" it is.

Who sells these? Do they come in different sizes????

I have the need for such a thing as a round wooden ring.....and I am hoping I can use one of these hoops......But it has to be bigger than the pics I've found.

I think that I have seen them at Wal-Mart. You might have better luck with Michaels for a larger selection.

  6. My daughter was a huge talker in kindergarten. Her teacher had also just moved down from 3rd grade, so this was her first year having that grade. For the life of me we couldn't get her to stop talking. All the punishment or reward didn't matter. I had several conversations throughout the year about my daughter needing to be challenged because she was bored out of her skull. (she was reading, writing, do math, etc before she ever started school) Finally the last couple of months before the year ended the teacher starts giving my child more difficult work...reading comprehension & things that required her to actually use her brain on a different level. You would not believe the difference that made in her. It was like all the sudden a light bulb clicked with the teacher & she realized that she needed to be tested for Venture. It was too late in her kindergarten year. Within a couple of weeks of her 1st grade year she was tested for Venture...made it... & we haven't had any problems since. She is in the third grade now & is doing great. We have also been blessed for the past 3 years with very excellent teachers.

A bored child is not a bad child...I think that sometimes the energy that they have needs to be redirected positively.
