But there again, you're talking about all out war. It's a very different dynamic here in this country, and there are laws that make it difficult for the Armed Forces to be used against civilians and especially state governments. The most civilians would likely face would be the National Guard, and a bunch of country boys with deer rifles would absolutely be a formidable deterrent against the Guard.

"Far right" means different things in different societies. If you look at Hitler's policies and political beliefs; they were much closer to today's Democratic Party than the right. I brought Hitler into this because the parallels to some of the things going on today are pretty frightening to people who are students of history and independent thinkers.
