Me thinks it would be better to ween off the sugar gradually. Personally...I get concerned anytime I hear about a no this or that diet, or a this or that only diet. You can eat almost anything; the key is moderation. Most of us eat too much sugar, drink too much caffeine, eat too much fat, etc. But we don't need to cut it all out. Carbs, for example, convert protein into muscle; so some carbs are necessary to build or maintain muscle.

If you're concerned about a score, find out what they were counted off for. Many times they lose major points for things that do not affect food safety. An example I was involved with in a local restaurant (I won't say which one), the inspector walked in on the day the A/C was broken and the plumber had just fixed a leaking pipe which left a hole in the wall. Neither item affected food safety, and both were fixed the next day; yet the establishment got a 30 something on their score. The Paulding health department can get ridiculous at times. I am a believer in seatbelts, I think they save lives. I also think wearing one should be a personal choice, and that the government has no right to force you to use one.
