    Same here! That's funny. We were married on July 4th 1998! It stopped raining about 15 minutes before the ceremony. It realy helped cool things off too!

    Today was story time at the library,and then we had lunch at a park with our friends and let the two little ones play.Now I'm watching the Barbie Princess and a Pauper with my daughter for the gazillionth time this week,she'll have quiet time after that,and I'll clean.Such an exciting day :rolleyes:

    These are great pics! It makes me miss the St. Pete area so much. We used to go down 4 or 5 times a year.

     

    I love the bird chasing pics. Mine chased them when he was that age, too! He would never grow tired of it. I'm so glad you all had a good time!

    I LOVE this office!We've been with Dr.Verigan since our daughter was born two years ago and have not had a single problem with her or the office staff...quite the opposite actually!Not sure what's going on with the turnover but it hasn't affected us.We always request Dr.Verigan and have always seen her aside from once or twice when she wasn't available on the day we needed.

    Clearwater seems to have the best sand. There is also a little park across the inlet (south side) over the bridge that was always pleasant. Clearwater also has a life size pirate ship you can ride out in the gulf. You may want to check that out. Have fun.

    John Pass, IS A MUST! That is the best place in all of FL.

    In the Cuban section of Tampa there is The Columbia Restaurant, not sure if it is still as nice as I remember but it was allways a treat to go there. AS kids we would go to the docks and watch the banana boats unload then go get a Cuban sandwitch.

    you can also head towards tarpon springs, where in tampa will you be staying? in tarpon you can see a shark tank, the monkey farm, sponge diving, the beaches, there's also fort desoto, longboat key, egmont key park, as already mentioned john's pass,

    I'm not sure where in Tampa...we're staying at our cousin's new house somewhere in Tampa,that's about as much as I know,lol.Which beach is the best for playing in the sand,because that's ALL my daughter keeps talking about,lol.I also heard about Lettuce Lake Park and saw pictures....it's GORGEOUS!That's on our list too!

    Busch Gardens, They have a really neat pier down there you can shop at over ther ocean... Hmmm I know there is more if i think of anymore i will come back..

    They have a fairly nice aquarium. We've been there with our kids and enjoyed it. Also, you can go over to Ybor City to browse the shopping/restaurant district. You can check out Busch Gardens. That's nice. You may also like to drive over to John's pass along the Gulf. (St. Petersburg Area) There is a great pizza shop and dolphin sight tours available. Try the pier in St Petersburg. We spent 1/2 a day over there. Just 10 miles north in Clearwater, I believe the Mets and Yankees have their spring training areas. Some of the most fun we ever had was just getting in the car and driving around looking for little fruit stands with juice and ice cream. Hope this helps. The trip is about 8 hours if you stop to eat. Usually Valdosta was a great place to fill up and grab a bite. Oh, one last thing, Silver Springs Park (the glass bottom boats) was a wonderful site to see. It is located near Ocala or Gainesville. You will see the signs along I 75. Hope this helps.

    Sunday we leave for Tampa to stay with some family for a week...we may have a week's vacation but they don't so we'll be entertaining ourselves during the day ^_^ Anyone have any recommendations for sightseeing?

    Thanks to everyone who has already stopped by.

    Still have the weights and gym equipment, toys and an entertainment center, books and misc. stuff. Wanting to get rid of EVERYTHING so stop by, make an offer...want to clean out ALL the stuff!

     

    Are any of the toys good for a 2 year old girl? She's not too girly when it comes to toys,she loves trains and cars too!
