  2. Thank you so much for your prayers. I am Jeremey's mom. He was a wonderful young man with a bright future. He was blessed to have so many good friends. He is loved very much and missed terribly. He will never be forgotten and I know he is our guardian angel watching over us.

  3. Try the regal begal they will spoil your dog! Jackie is sweet as can be!

You also should try Tender Loving Care in Dallas. 770-445-2698 I have 2 Yorkie's and Luke treats them like they are his own. He does a great job and is very reasonable. :D

  4. Normally if someone is that anxious to get around me, I let them. In my mind they may have an emergency or something else I don't know about. I let it go at that.

Not this time. I had just crossed Bakers Bridge Road onto Dallas Nebo when this IDIOT blows past me on a DOUBLE -LINE -- And I mean ON the double line. He didn't even bother to completely get in the other lane. He was just inches from my vehicle. Did I mention there is a bad curve right there. What the heck could be so important to endanger my life, his (assuming here, it scared me so bad it was too late to look at the driver), life, and any other driver that may have had the misfortune to come around that curve at that time? It was sheer luck nothing happened.

The only thing I could do was blow my horn for as long as I could. What could be so important? I never saw the vehicle again on the road. He either turned off or drove that fast. I was praying for an officer to have stopped him. I had every intention of stopping to offer my assistant to ensure that he got the appropriate number of tickets.

Keep in mind that this has nothing to do with me going too slow by obeying the 40 MPH speed limit. I had just crossed over onto the road after waiting at a stop light!!

Okay, now I will do a couple of breathing exercises, calm down and get back to my tasks. Just needed to vent for a minute. Thank you.

  5. I can recommend Joel Bagby as well. My son and I went to see Joel for a few months to deal with some issues and found him very helpful, personable, nice, very calm and it helped both of us both. I sent my daughter to see him when she first started college as it was a difficult adjustment and our youngest 2 kids went with Bruce and their Mom a few times as well. You will like him when you meet him and feel comfortable saying whatever you need to say to him or with him there. I highly recommend Joel Bagby. I believe mommyof3 is correct, Allied Counseling. Small little office tucked away in the business park behind/beside the cable company (I think it is still there). Good luck to you and I hope you find someone to help. -_-

I would also suggest Hudson Consulting Associates. They are located out 61 north. Linda Hudson and her husband both do conseling and they have a different approach that might help your preteen as well as family counseling. There # is 770-426-5157. Good luck.

  6. Well, someone else might can do a better job at talking about than myself, I'm still new at it.

I have to admit though. I helped to get this started and help promote it and still thought..."I don't need that" and I didnt even go the first week, but the second week the normal worship leader could not make it so I had to fill in for worship and just stayed to check it out....well, I'll be back this week and any week I can!

This is our first step in our alchohol and drug ministry called "Josh's Cause", but Celebrate Recovery is not JUST for alchohol and drug problems
