Most LEOs now do not pay those any mind. Too many people have started using them in hopes of avoiding a ticket. It was started with the original intent of letting a LEO know that he had stopped a fellow officer or family member and that he could "ease up" a little on his concern over the person at the wheel of the car. As ex-LEO I would never writE anyone a ticket for less than 15 over unless in a shool zone. Second just because his lights and siren were not on, it does not mean that he was not responding to a call. Some calls to not warrant lights and siren but you still try to get there quickly. There are many times at night when we respond lights only just to be respectful of those sleeping. Lights only is like running with nothing if there is an accident. I read about that about 2 weeks ago but I still do not understand. The way I understand it the 2010 taxes would have come under the original Bush tax cuts. I know we will file in 2011 but the tax laws for 2010 would apply to those because they were earned in 2010. If not then they should have had to change the withholdings part at the begining of 2010, which they did not. Something about this story just does not make sense to me. I think it is just a ploy to hold off on issuing refunds until more money has come in.

I ponied up and paid for my fire fighter tags. I was talking to the lady at the counter, I cut her grass, and she was saying that a whole lot of the prestige tags were being swapped over to regular ones. I hope they run out of the regular ones. I know that yesterday I had an issue with Norton Internet Security. There was this very nice lady that came on the phone to assist me. I do know that should the prices go to the 5 - 8 dollar a gallon, that is where many of the US reserves become profitable enough to be utilized. Maybe they are just trying to get us to that point. Just think, If prices went back to $2.50 how many of us would be dancing with joy where just a few years ago prices were only at half of that mark.
