It depends for me. I have to get up early for the fire station. Not much time to snooze when you get up at 5:15 AM. When I am at the station, I have to be up dressed and ready to drive the truck in under 2 minutes. when I leave I have to be up and out by 7 AM. Not much choice. On my off morning, I get up when I feel like it.

That depends mostly on what day of the week and what time of day you go. Why do you think it is that Arbor Place put the unescorted juveniles not allowed after certain times into place. And that is for Gang activity in General. Crips, Bloods, Gangsta Diciples, Sur 13, Nuestra Familia. Surenos, 18th Street, Latin kings, 30 deep, Black Gangsta Diciples, Brown Side Locos, International Robbing Crew, La Gran Familia, La Raza, Los Zetas, Malditos 13, Mara Salvatrucha, Nortenos, Pachucos 21, Puros Vatos Loco, Riverside Locos, Vice Lords Et al.Anyone else notice the number of gangs with hispanic orig

Parents are already the responsible party for their childrens actions up to age 18. Even as an ex-LEO I have never understood why 18. You are "of age" at 17 and be tried as an adult and go to adult prison. Your juvenile record is sealed at age 17. But a person can not sign a contract and the parent is still responsible until age 18. So if your darling 17 year old delinguent goes out and kills or seriously injures somebody in a car wreck after graduation, guess who is going to get sued? It will be you.

That's how I read it. It would seem that you would still have been lonely.

Got the word from my mom a little while ago. My dad had a dislocated elbow. The Doctor put it back in place and sent him home. Last week he was there with a bleeding ulcer. I am not liking all the hospital trips.

My friends at Cobb # 6 had to run on my dad today. He slipped and fell. Still waiting on a X-ray. Possible fracture maybe dislocated shoulder. 82 y/o slip and falls arenot good. No head trauma though. Please send your good {{{{vibes}}}} my dad's way.

There is a lot of potential there for more drain on public funds. I do not feel it is right of these girls AND boys to engage in an act that will lead to the birth of another human being and not have the ability to care for and support that child.Especially in high school. Now, more than likely, public funding will be used to support these "families". There are many people out there who want and are willing to have children but can not because of nature or their funds are limited by having to pay taxes to support these children. I understand that contraceptives fail, but that is a lot of failu

From what I was hearing at the station yesterday, Cobb experienced a problem with its strategic planning for the DOT response to the snow. I was told Cobb elected to sell off all its plows and CONTRACT plowing out to a seperate company. I would say that there seems to be an issue with that company and its ability to service the appx. 2,500 miles of road in Cobb. Our station ramps were to be top priority and they were still iced over yesterday. The plan made sense I guess. (it seems the county bought into the global warming stuff) The county decided it would be cheaper to contract the job ou

{{{{{waves hands in air}}}}} I wanna go too!! Guess I'll have to wait til our anniversary in Sep to take my family.

That would be the last 24 weeks of school @ 15 min / day. My math was wrong the first time. They would need 20 min / day starting now. I converted twice the first time. 1800 min. / 90 days = 20 min / day
-
I would gladly have cleared your driveway with my Bobcat, if I had one. You wanna buy me one for next time?
-
That is what I thought I was discussing. Total minutes missed divided by days remaining = minutes extra per day.
-
Not yet (for this round) But I fell down a full flight of stairs last time. My hip still hurts when I lay on my left side.
-
They will need to make up 1,800 minutes correct? 5 X (6 X 60) = 1,800 If there are 90 days left (not certain without a calender) then they need 20 min / day starting now. I am thinking about Elem. School here.

My guess is that they go back Tuesday and we will not have the winter break in Feb. Just my guess.

Good luck GT. Be careful out there. The sleet was really picking up as I went through Pwd. Spgs.

About 1 hour and 15 min. But I did reroute so that I would travel on more used roads and over terrain that has less hills on it. I am sure glad to be home though. Spent a good portion of the night stroking folks hand that really just wanted to be able to say "I had to call 911 during a snow storm and go to the hospital". ***PSA*** If after calling 911 because you feel sick during a snow storm, necessitating a response by an Engine, Rescue and an ambulance, do not answer the crews question this way. We have to ask "do you want to go to the hospital by ambulance?" When you are a

You will need more wood. I do not see "sterno" anywhere on those logs.

So now they actually give you a vest to wear so you are protected from flying projectiles. They also give you a few other goodies. Remember "arms out" when you run or you will not find things very funny.

So you did get that new job at the Sherriff's Department... Good for you.

I have 2 doctors appointments. Both after noon. I have also put my name in the kitty for overtime at the fire department depending on who can make it in tommorrow. I still remember the last icing a couple of weeks ago. I came in the night before. And my whole left side is still sore from the tumble down my front steps trying to get in. But I do have a whole bunch of bricks in the back of my truck for ballast though.

You can challenge the RADAR calibration all you like. The officer can only check the calibration with the assigned equipment. He can not recalibrate or calibrate it. that is taken care of on a given schedule through certified specialists. All are required to check them at the begining of their shift. If there is a problem then they can not use it. And you do not have the right to observe the check if you request one. Drug dogs are like officers, some are better than others. Both will build a proven track record with the courts and magistrate judges. And you can rest assured the attorneys

I have never used the benefit, but my wife has made her first claim. I understand the system well enough but have a question or two. I have been of the impression that the maximum weekly benefit is $330. It even says so right there on the web site. So when she applied yesterday she was told it would be $390 / week. I would have questioned the lady right then, but I am not my wife and I could not go in there with her. I have done some research on this and found at least 1 article claiming that UIB were rising $25 to $355 and there is at least 1 chart that seems to back this up. But still $390?
-
Tell that to my wife. I'm glad it is so rosey over there for you.
-
That is the difference between effective and official. It does not matter which way you look at it, if the effective is still rising but the official is falling you can not say it is getting better out there. What you can say is that more people have exceeded their limits or have given up or both. And even with the 99 week extensions in place, people are out of benefits and WILL either get a job or likely give up for now. That would most likely mean not going to the employment centers.
