I want them GONE, but I will settle for having them back on the right side of my page. What gives, what happened how do I fix it? And it is ESPECIALLY annoying on my phone. Help, suggestions?

I think the county had someone over promise and under deliver. I would doubt that this contract will be renewed. It is hard to change your way of doing something and always get the best choice when there is no history of practical application to deal with. Does every homeowner pick the best choice for a home contractor the first time for every project?

I work at the station that ran the call although the shift before us answered that call. I know for a fact that Stilesboro Rd. Was in bad shape until Saturday. We actually still had our snow chains on the engine Sat. Anyway, we were told that Cobb had made the decision to sell off their snowplows and contract that job out. The stations ramps were to be top priorty for clearing and I know ours were never cleared at all. It seems to me that there was a really bad breakdown witH the provider. But that is just speculation from the situation I observed.

So you really think government can run things well?

Yes, Sunday will be her fourth week of claims. And no, had they told her on the phone that there was no further info available, I would have been just fine with that answer. But to make us go there to get that answer just boggles the mind. -
We have never used unemployment before and are therefore quite lacking in knowledge about how the system works. Well we are learning rapidly. We will be completing my wifes 4th week on unemployment as of today. With no payments as of yet. I don't know, I'm just making an observation. So, back to the story. We get there and she is called back and I am again refused the ability to go with her. Ok. After a few minutes she comes back out. "What did she have to say?" Well she said that "there is no further information that she can give us". You mean to tell me that we spent all this

Crp. or franchise does not matter. Both will use the name. That is what defines a franchise. Who would buy a franchise from Winners and accept being forced to call it Bubba's.

Now that's what I'm looking for. Too bad there have soo many changes. Burnt Hickory & Hutchins Elem are not even on it. Oh well. I have looked everywhere and the BOE is giving them the run around. "Oh the bus barn has it" No. "it's online" Where? "on our web site" Where? "Right there" again... no. Uggh. Thanks so much for trying guys.

Thanks. I found that. We were looking for the maps. Trying to know what areas are within a specific schools boundries for a friend who is moving. That is easier than looking at each address when you are looking at homes.

I am trying to find the attendance maps. Where did they go? They do not appear on the school web site. Anyone got a link? TIA Dis

Of course she had a great day! She got to see me. And make fun of my parking.

Ok... Seriously? Louisiana = Ghonorrhea And what is up with Georgia and Kansas? Most sickly and poorest health. What is the difference?

If I have $500 less to spend on things because I have to spend that amount to obtain something that I am already getting because I have to, Then hell yes I will stop spending on some things. No one is going to give me a COGA (cost of gasoline allowance). Do you have any idea what a family budget is and how it works?

My DVR is a little behind, It just started for me. What negativity. I didn't know he was allowed to respond / rebute.

Told you LTD. But still no source.

Don't be silly LTD, She wants it to be $4 or more. She has already said so.

You said they paid more for gas. I said they do not. We pay the same. They pay much more taxes on that gas than we do though. And I agree with some of that. The Europeans have always had large cities. The infrastructure came later. They benefited from this situation that started before the advent of the car. Here, most of our growth came along with the car. Sorry, but we did not look into the future and see this coming. So now we have to deal with what we have. And it is much more expensive to rebuild than to build new infrastructure. At this point here it would be far easier to add jobs t

Yes AND I also understand why they tax the crap out of it. That does not change the fact that YOU stated that they pay more for GASOLINE in Europe. That is not true. They pay the same as we do. They just pay loads more taxes. Typical of you trying to hide and or sugar coat the TAXES issue. Dang you love taxes don't you. I'll let you pay mine if you like. Even if you won't, how about you sign up for the extra voluntary tax program and just pay the extra. I'm sur PIBO would just love you for it. As far as the US vs. Europe goes. Most Europeans already live in urban settings while the vast

I thought I might also take a moment to point this out as well. To those that say Europeans pay more for gasoline than we do. Please read the following article. http://www.babeled.com/2008/06/02/us-versus-european-gas-prices/ So, How was that cost comparison again?

The market determines YOUR IDEA of what's too much?!? Ahh Zoo... sooo typical of you. You just can not answer a direct question that you think might make you look bad later. Soo, is it $4.00 or what? And where was it that you got that "we have consumer spending that can handle $4.00 a gallon right now" part from anyway. So you are good with another 33% increase in Gas prices? Incidently, that would put the price at 67% above the average inflation adjusted price of gas. Just thought I would pont that out.
-
So for the record, What is your idea of too much? It is already Well Above the average inflation adjusted price of $2.39 / gal.
-
So you did not vote for PIBO? Hmmm.... Call me skeptical. But that is your business. I guess you could have voted for McKinney.
-
You'll learn soon that argueing with Zoo is pointless. I do it just to piss her off. Hey zoo, Where is you political assment from the other thread? We are still waiting for it. This Right wing extremist landed squarely on the center line. How about you? Skeered? Come on... It won't hurt... much.
-
You are not the definitive answer to all things on this board. I have made and given MY own assesment of the economy. Am I not allowed that in a free country. I used facts to support my beliefs. I am free to have them even if you disagree. Too bad, so sad.
-
Calling you a Liberal is MY assesment of you just as yours is that I am a right wing extremist. It is my feeling and as such may be debateable but it IS NOT a lie. But then again how many Right wing extremists do you know who are Pro-choice, Prolegalization of Marijuana and prostitution, believes in unions (but at the same time believes them to be among the most corrupt and useless organizations in the US as of right now) and have voted for Clinton? You are so far left that middle of the road seems extreme. And just FYI. dirty dog, git, lowlife, rotter, scum bag, skunk, so-and-so, sti

1. I stopped keeping score long ago. It got too depressing. The the post 2000 bottom was 6547 and the precrash peak was 14164. 2. I have already stated my assesment of the rebound in the Dow as a whole. That being the "value" of a compamy's stock is directly tied to its performance. A large portion of that performance is based on the "health" of the books as well as ROI. So, when a company sheds many jobs. Dumps unprofitable divisions. Is able to lower employee wages. (in this case due to increased competition for jobs) Getting more work out of the employees due to increased productivity
