I have a 10' X 10' X 6' dog kennel at my parents house. My family was using it as a "baby sitting" kennel over there. My neice's dog messed up part of the chain link on one of the pannels but it is repairable. This kennel is made of 2 seperate styles. 2 panels are heavy welded wire and 2 are standard chainlink panels. I do not know what kind of dog you have or if this would work for you. You can use it if you like. I really do not want to sell it because of the 2 welded wire panels. Those are from a $400 kennel and they are meant for use with my other kennel but we do not need the 10 X 20 size

Motorcycle ride Sunday 9/25 to Cheaha Mountain
nschur replied to Beau Weneroux's topic in RECENT TOPICS
After last nights fishing outing with Dis jr. I would gladly come home a day early. I thought PaPa was going to kick his little butt right off that dock. You know when PaPa walks away from you throwing his hands up, that you really have accomplished a feat of rare occurance. -

Wonder if I can get the family to leave Destin a day early? What do you guys think? -
I saw this on a FB page and thought it was funny. I can't read the comments so it may not be but the picture is.

I guess that there will be lawns to cut when I get home next week. To my customers, I even think about your yards need while on vacation. I am way to anal about this stuff.
-
They seem to have that same entitlement philosophy at our home as well. Wonder what they think now as we are in Destin and not home to feed them.

I saw it but could not tell which one it was.

I stoped dove hunting when I figured out I really did not like the taste. Mind you this was years ago but to my recollection they tasted an awful lot like chicken liver and I'm not all that fond of those. I'll eat it but not if I have a choice. finally I do not kill anything I do not eat. (well somethings Flies, roadkill stuff like that I exempt) You do know that hunting on a baited field is illegal right...? I know... It was in poor taste but I just couldn't resist.

If you get greedy and try to make a killing the chances are much greeter that you will loose everything. Ihave mine split into 4 funds and have been the same for the last 12 or so years. 1 high risk, 2 medium risk and 1 lower risk. The closer I get to retirement the more I will lower my risk exposure. I have been fairly pleased with my results to date. I am up 27.3 % since 2006. And that was even covering the big crash where I went form 20% to neg. 20% and now back to 27.3%. That (2006) is when the county switched funds and I had to move everything to this one. I believe I was up around 34

Ihave been Dovehunting several times but never duck. I find it generally helpful to use a shotgun rather than a rifle. :p

Pubby, you are so full of cheeze that your eyes are brown. There is not one report that says anything less than SS is now paying out more than it is paying in. And that has absolutely nothing to do with the payroll tax cut. It was doing that already. http://www.nytimes.c...y/25social.html Right there for you Pubby. Dated march of 2010. Now it was not supposed to go negative until 2016 or so but the economy tanked and less people are working and payiing into the fund. It was and has been expected to go negative for a VERY long time. Quit trying to spin this turd into a flower. It just i

That does not surprise me one bit TP. It seems that there is an overwhelming lack of inteligence among many in the US today so do not feel left out.

You are purposely misquoting what I said and you know it. First, those that are a few years out would get a much higher % of the standard amount. The farther out you are the less of that you would get until it zeroed out. You know exactly what it was I was describing and chose to obfuscate the issue for your own urpose. Also you know perfectly well that I was not comparing the seniors to the older obsolete car, I was comparing the SS system as a whole to that. Were we discussing Seniors or the SS plan? HMMM... It seems that you have your own agenda and are purposely trying to stifle any real d

Yes but getting the SS plan is great diehards to actually admit that it is better for the public won't happen because they are convinced the government plan will then crash. Hell I fould continue to pay a portion of the amount that I currently pay just to be able to opt out and put the rest or more into the new plan. I know I will be better off in the end. I would be crazy to turn that option down.
-
Yes and no. There are funds available but not sufficent in themselves. There will need to be funds collected in the near term that will allow us to buy the current folks off. The amounts I am unsure of. But there would also be some input from the older nonretired folks that would only get a reduced benefit as well. I liken this to a navy ship in a way. The Navy commisionsand pays for a ship which it decides is either obsolete or designed poorly or that the mission criteria has been found to be no longer useful. They can do several things. Pay the ship off and scrap it. Try to update it and ex

The fact that so many people would oppose the implementation of the current system today shows the disatisfaction with the current system. It should show that true reform is wanted and needed. Also it shows the sentiment of the people towards privatization of SS. As I have stated before. We need to continue to pay off/ out the current receipiants of SS. We need to take those that are nearing retirement and implement a transition period for them where it is part one and part the other. Then the youngest in the system should be allowed to choose whech way they want to go with their own plan. Wha

Well TP at least you seem to agree with the whole Premise of this poll. Most people today do not like the current version of SS and feel that they would do better by managing their own private fund either themselves or a private retirement management company other than the Federal government. We got hoodwinked back in 1935 and are really starting to pay for it now. Hey I'm the first to say "they promised to pay me benefits (projected) of $1900 / month when I retire at age 67 after having paid into the fund for 56 years and I fully expect to recieve what I have been promised." If they do not th

That is not up to you TP, that is up to the Mrs.. Thankfully. But then again she seldom insults me and tries to just pass it off as a "Well that's not what I meant but I really do not know what I meant to say" .
-
I'm sorry EMS, Are you say that the Federal Government is paying for the Memorial? To the best of my knowledge the funding was through a not for profit organization not by the Feds. Did the feds provide some money to it. I wouldn't doubt it, but thenagain maybe it was anonther Stimulus plan expenditure kinda like building turtle tunnels has nothing to do with promoting the General wellfare either. Finally, my oint has been well made. Most citizens ( by a large margin) would not support SS as it is now if it was not currently in existence. They feel that they would do a better job of planni

Well lets try this one TP. Confuscious Quoting Liberal sentiment when needed is part of my new Liberal mentality. I hope tht it does not offend you TP

If you felt that someone had purposely insulted you, would the explanation you just gave satisfy you?

My first guess would be no. As far as I know you have to be let go or laid off through no fault of your own in order to claim. I can't think of any provisions for having your hours reduced. But here is a link to the website. http://www.dol.state.ga.us/js/unemployment_benefits_individuals.htm Depending on wages and such along with his need for funds, it may be better to ask to be laid off. Then he would qualify for those benefits. But then again his employer would have the claim against them. It is possible that the employer already knows this and is using the "reduction" in hours
