Daughter is up near Blairsville, right in the middle of the possible snow track. She was not happy when I told her of the forcast.

Headed into Alabama yesterday afternoon on I-20, saw convoy after convoy of Alabama power and light trucks headed East. Guess they will hit 75 and/or 95 and head up to be ready for the storm.

Wife and I went on Wed about 1:00 PM and while there was a line, it went quickly. I was impressed with how organized it was, cheers for the elections department. We were in and out in less than 20 minutes. I do recommend you research the 2 amendments before you get there, they are confusing.

Wow, that brings back memories... I used to go to them 12-15 years ago when we lived in the Austell area and the tire place that was next to them. I used the Castrol place next to Dairy Queen on 278 the other day, nice enough folks, but only been there once. If it's a chevy, Days on 41 in Acworth has a quick oil change operation on site that I use for my Chevy products.

The other major cause is the "easy money" educational loans. It's a bubble just like the housing market and will crash the same way. You will see overbuilt colleges downsizing and closing all over the place.

The bill authorizing the vote stated it as such: It appears that they want to be able to sign a lease using money they don't have yet. Sounds a lot like that amendment last year where they wanted to commit to 20 year road projects and hope the state could pay for it later. Sounds like the state govt thinks the feds have it good with their deficit spending and want to get in on the deal. (No pun intended) SG

My grandmother was this way. I don't think there was an undented body part of her car when we finally got her to move here and give up the car.

Mower Repairs- If you are tired of being overcharged

Glad you added the second location description... Google maps puts your address behind Texas Roadhouse. Mapquest gets it right. Question - Are Poulan chain saws usually worth having worked on? My FIL gave me his and it looks good, but won't stay running. Do Poulan saws have the cheap carbs on them? SG -
Well, I was going by this from the hunting guide: Besides, I can see that gun laws rarely make sense since it's the idiots in the gold dome making laws. What is the sense that I have to answer a long quiz and have a background check to buy a .270 center fire rifle, but can go up to the gondola in the store and buy a muzzle loading black powder rifle with no questions asked? Does it really matter to whatever is shot what kind of powder is used to push the bullet out the barrel? <sigh> Well, I'll have it anyway. And on the topic of snakes, from the same hu

My FIL, UIL and I were entering the hunting club we joined in South Ga a few weeks ago when one of them noticed a 5 ft Timber rattler that was dead on the entry road. Best we would tell, GNG had mowed their gas line right of way on the property the day before and must have hit it on the way in or out. I applied for my Weapons permit the next week so I can take my pistol in the woods for deer season in case I meet any of it's kinfolk. (Well that and the rabid foxes, black panthers, wild boars and other reported wildlife on the property too.)

Standard safety practices for gun owners are for the shooter to look beyond their target and know where the rounds are going to end up to ensure safety. I would especially ensure that my rounds are NOT going to cross property lines before impacting something because you can't know who or what might be out there. Agreed, there are always idiots that don't follow the rules, but the hunter's safety course that all hunters born after 1960 have to take emphasis that you MUST know where your bullet is going to go because once you pull the trigger you can't get it back.

You want to see a "Poor creature" ambushed, go to a modern stockyard and/or Slaughter house. At least the deer around here (who would quick reach population levels that would result in mass starvation without hunting) get a normal life in the woods before being harvested, unlike your average stockyard animal.

While I would agree wholeheartedly that the climate can change, [duh, it has changed, drastically, over the years], it's the crackpot idea that man can STOP if from changing that I am totally against. The Greens whole argument is a totally arrogant one that the world will remain totally stable without man's actions which is total BS. Explain the multiple Ice ages and droughts that happened before fossil fuels if that is the case. What we need is a balanced approach between looking at *all* the causes of climate change and planning for the future *if* (when) it turns out that there is clim

Out of curiosity, how much is it a year? My FIL has me in a club in South Ga, it's cheap, but a 3 hour drive away and with the cost of gasoline now, about $60 to drive down and back. Not to mention how much it costs me because of the Bass Pro Shop at Macon.

Please don't post stuff like that while I'm on a conference call with my boss!! It was nearly disastrous!

So, best guess so far on how he got it is that we had the garage door to the shop open last week while we were working in the yard. I have a bunch of stuff piled next to the door, he might have been in that stuff and then came in while the door was open (maybe the riding mower scared him in there). Job one in the morning is clear *all* the stuff away from that door!! And maybe put an opener on it with a remote on the Lawn Mower. And seal the door between the shop and the rest of the basement. At least I know my Heart is OK if it survived that!

Wireless Transmitter With HDMI Inputs?

Sounds like the Select TVs are not sold any more, that would cause a a massive price drop... -
That was what I was afraid of. If I had to tell my wife I saw it, but it got away.... I'd be living by myself.

Went out and took a picture, looks like it might have been a rat snake. If he'd been outside, I'd left him alone but inside .. ain't gonna happen... Gotta figure out how he got in so it doesn't happen again. I think I should have had my brown pants on.

Well, maybe living in the country is a little *too* exciting for me. My office is in the basement, so I'm turning the corner to head upstairs and get dinner out to thaw and meet a 2 foot snake coming down the stairs at me!! :o After winning the olympic gold in the standing backwards broad jump, I start trying to figure out what the heck to do. I can't let this thing get out of the stairwell, if I lose it, my wife will move out of the house and never return. So I yell for my son who's in his bedroom upstairs and tell him to go to the garage and get my machete and throw it dow

Just don't say it 'round my son the history major. He'll tell you quick it is supposed to be "If the Good Lord's willin' and the Creeks don't rise." (as in the Creek Indian tribe) Myself, I think it works either way. Some others I've heard from my in-laws from Cummings and Soperton, GA: He's busier than a cat trying to cover crap on a marble floor. - Pretty dang busy He's got more <whatever> than Carvers' got liver pills. - Got a lot of something He's out taking his car for a walk. - Really slow driver usually in front of him On picking targets during Deer hunt

For those who use deductions on their taxes, there is another little loophole: So another deduction bites the dust.

Had an old girlfriend in Kennesaw get it. She couldn't walk for several years until they finally figured out it was Lyme Disease. Thankfully, the treatments they gave her were able to reverse most of the damage. Saw her at a reunion last year and she was getting around fine.

It definitely shows that every vote CAN make a difference....

We have those things in the woods where I hunt in South Ga. Some of their color schemes I wouldn't have dreamed up in my worst nightmare.
