The prime function of an insurance company is to carry out its fiduciary responsibility to its shareholders, not providing health care.

I wonder how Boortz's comments would be taken, coming from a black man commenting on racial profiling; suggesting that black people train and arm themselves. I work with a black woman who comes from Birmingham and has children and extended family who live there; she says her nephew who lives in a predominantly white neighborhood is regularly harassed by police for driving or walking while black. He is articulate, respectful, and college educated, yet the police feel they have the right to harass the young man. Perhaps, him and others who are subjected to this behavior should "arm themselves"?

I heard him in an interview and he seemed like a good person. It's sad he had so many medical issues at the end of his life.
