I think you and others who say without a doubt, they wouldn't do this are full of s**t has well. It's easy for people to say how brave they'll be unless they are faced with such a situation. I doubt I would cheat and would carry a tape recorder and contact a lawyer immediately. I would also take as many people down with me as I possibly could, but I don't think it's as clear cut as you make it.

And if you lose, you're unemployable. After spending a fortune on a degree; many states require a Master's Degree to teach, many are not in a position to fight and cannot afford to take the financial hit. I think there are a lot of Monday morning quarterbacks on this thread and it's easy to say how much integrity you'll have until faced with this dilemma. I don't think I could do it but teachers are being thrown under the bus here and administrators regularly screw teachers to save their own ass. Until teachers have better protection from harassment, these types of scandals will continue.

Isn't Michelle Bachmann in a gay marriage? -
Teachers without tenure have little protection from the union. I would venture to say in places where there is a union, administrators would be reluctant to approach teachers about doing this. However, administrators find creative ways to harass teachers. The harassment of teachers is a story that needs to be looked into. If you spent time teaching in an inner-city school, you'd find out how many good teachers there are and they do an amazing job, despite a lack of resources and tough conditions.

It's easy for someone to say this, unless they've lived through the nightmare of watching a loved one suffer. If I'm ever diagnosed with something like Alzheimer's or MS, I'm ending it. I refuse to live that way. I think Kevorkian is a hero.

My wife has Multiple Sclerosis and is bedridden and I cried when I read the story. It's sad this man had to make such a heart-wrenching decision. People should have the right to end their life with dignity when it is no longer worth living.

I read just fine, but I guarantee none of these teachers willingly cheated; they were coerced to do so. This is why teachers unions are needed; if there were, these teachers may not have felt compelled to cheat. In administering the CRCT, teachers are required to sign their signature and time upon receiving the exams and sign off upon the return of the tests and usually an administrator is present. It is nearly impossible to cheat without tacit approval or coercion of an administrator. These teachers were threatened with their jobs and the end of their careers. After spending a fortune on a te

You believe in a fictional being from a fictional book and say others are resorting to emotional principles? Affording all citizens equal protection under the law is not an emotional appeal but a right in our Constitution. If anybody is resorting to emotion, it is you. -
Why are you calling this "teacher cheating" when administrators are behind the cheating. These teachers were coerced into cheating; threatened with their jobs.

A lifestyle choice? If you look at Richard Simmons or Little Richard, it's clearly not a lifestyle choice. Why would someone choose a "lifestyle" where they are relegated to the status of second class citizen. -

This is a section from wikipedia. Here is the entire link. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fourteenth_Amendment_to_the_United_States_Constitution It seems to me gay marriage would fall under the equal protection of the 14th amendment. The Court held to the "separate but equal" doctrine for more than fifty years, despite numerous cases in which the Court itself had found that the segregated facilities provided by the states were almost never equal, until Brown v. Board of Education (1954) reached the Court. In Brown the Court ruled that even if segregated black and white schools were of -
I wonder how many teachers were bullied and threatened to cheat by Beverly Hall and lost their jobs and ruined their careers. I wonder if any of these teachers will file lawsuits?

I believe there is a masonry supply yard in Douglasville, off Bankhead and 92 by the railroad tracks, I forgot the name though.

Your religion has no right to infringe on the civil liberties of others. If your church, a private organization, refuses to marry gays, they have every right to do so. However, religions do not have the right to dictate the civil rights of others. If you want a government controlled by religion, move to Iran or Saudi Arabia. -

A gay political commentator said" Rick Santorum is more focused on gay sex than I am". It has to make you wonder why these hard core social conservatives act this way. -

As long as people can profit off the machinery of war, they will create countless threats to justify their existence.
