You could check the drain plug in your freezer. Ours was freezing so there as nowhere for it to go. It would case a sheet of ice on the bottom of the freezer and a little water would pool under the veggie drawers. Last week I also discovered the vent that allows the cold air to come over from the freezer was iced over. We also bought this refrigerator in 2006 (Whirlpool Gold side by side). I have family members rocking their appliances from the 70's with no problem
