I had to do the same thing. I used Uptown Dental and wasn't very impressed. The first time I went there it was okay, however, any appointments after that were not. I had an appointment one day after work at 4:00. I got there at 3:50. I wasn't taken back to the exam area until after 4:30 and by 5:00 when no one had returned at all, I got up and walked out. Regardless of who gets it... The State Office of EMS decides who is awarded the 911 zone for the county, not the BOC or the citizens. It is based strictly on what the service provides, where they have trucks located, how they are staffed, the staff certifications, etc.

My mom is diabetic and she hid her diagnosis from our family until she had a stroke. She didn't tell anyone about her diagnosis, did nothing to regulate her blood sugar, high cholesterol and high blood perssure. So needless to say when she had her stroke we found out a lot of stuff she was hiding from us. Now she sees an endocrinologist in Carrollton and I am really impressed with him. He made sure she went to a diabetic nutrition class and sees her every 3-4 months to check her levels and make sure she is staying on track.

Actually this year I did something a little different...I voted with an absentee ballot. My reasons were purely selfish... Due to work constraints I would be unable to get to the courthouse to vote during the day. Once the additional locations open up, none of them are really convenient for me. I don't do well in crowds these days, so waiting until the day of is also not an option for me. So on Monday I requested an absentee ballot. I received it in the mail on Tuesday and put it back into the mail yesterday.

My child doesn't have a journal, but if they did I would most definitely read it. I would only let them know if there were something illegal/harmful going on...suicide thoughts, etc...
