  1.

Just not NFL players, Black Lives Matter,ANTIFA and those GD'ed Liberals.

Or, college students whose liberal college professors disagree with their response to a piece of literature in a reader response paper.

Yes, I returned to college in my early 40's and I wrote a response paper after reading The Mysterious Stranger by Mark Twain. I received a 0 on this paper because my liberal professor did not agree with my response. My response was based on my Christian beliefs regarding the mysterious stranger, Satan. The professor certainly didn't like or agree with what I said. In fact, he wrote me a page and a half response of his own. I went to the top and appealed the grade and won. I received an A on the paper. Imagine how many times this happens to young students right out of high school that are afraid to buck the system. It infuriates me...

One more thing....this didn't happen at Berkley, this happened at KSU right here in Cobb County, Georgia where a majority of the professors spew their liberal rhetoric every.single.day.

  2. I have dealt with Judge Beavers several times over the last 32 years.Sometimes it had to do with my own personal legal matter and sometimes it involved someone else.I have been on jury duty several times and on the Grand Jury twice.I have always seen him act in my opinion in a fair manner.I'am not saying he always gets it right, but he has always seemed fair and very professional to me.Please don't bash me.Just stating what I have seen personally.

Not bashing, however, I have experienced the opposite. I have only dealt with him in the past five years and I feel it's time for him to go. He seems tired, disinterested, and out of touch. Just my opinion. I do believe this case is just a judge doing another judge a favor. However, if the evidence is there, this young monster should pay...I don't care who he is or who he knows.

Beavers is a judge. Members of the State Bar often give each other professional courtesy and the benefit of any doubt. Especially judges giving other judges professional courtesy. It is the reason the appellate courts often rubber stamp the lower courts' troubling decisions.

Does Tonny S. Beavers give professional courtesy to other legal professionals? Does Tonny S. Beavers employ sharpe practice? Should Paulding County continue to entrust it's well being to a judge like Tonny S. Beavers?

    +-------

icare, we don't always agree but I can truly say that you have integrity, courage and you truly do care. I don't think everyone understands what it means to practice integrity. There is always a measure of risk when we stand up to troubling conduct and hidden influences. What are the risks to our children and families if we don't?

If you don't stand up and speak out, are you truly living your life? Or are you just existing?

We don't agree on all political views but that's okay. And, yes, I truly do care. One thing we do have in common is a disdain for Tonny Beaver. He does do favors for his "own"...as in my brother's custody case. In this case, a young mother lost her life and this man needs to pay...no favors. Praying the DA, prosecutor or whom ever will do the right thing...Beavers need to go.

  4. I read the article and listened to the news story and it appears that Dick Donovan, our District Attorney, could step in and turn this thing around. Beavers said there was not enough evidence to warrant malice murder charges and child endangerment. Paulding County law enforcement, Capt Gorman, seems to think there is ample evidence. I hope and pray that Paulding County does the right thing to seek justice for this young mother and her children.

  5. Allegedly, Jonathan Bates, foster son of Judge Foster, beat his wife...she was placed on life support and she later died. Allegedly, after the incident, he went to his foster Dad's houses and when authorities came to arrest him, Judge Foster required a warrant that delayed the arrest and investigation. Allegedly, the crime scene was cleaned. Jonathan Bates was charged with malice murder, among other charges. Their kids were placed in state custody much to the dismay of Judge Foster. Today, Bates went before another judge (not sure which one) and his charge was reduced and he was released on $1500 bond. Something stinks about this case. I know there are many sides to an investigation but I'm praying someone digs deep into this investigation and uncovers the truth. A young mother is dead....

  6. Unfortunately, I think I was responsible for the wrong turn in this thread. I noted the connection that I know exists between Howard, Virginia, Glen, Paulette, and Theresa. That, along with knowledge I have from when they first became active in the Paulding County Republican Party, turns me off. I truly don't want to sling mud but these connections make me uncomfortable. Sorry for the wrong turn... -_-

  7. icare,

I've told nothing but the truth. No "tactics:" involved. Wrong person for the job.

You know what you did....I promise you it's okay for people to agree to disagree. Getting angry is not going to sway anyone's mind. We all have knowledge of the candidates and will vote based on what we believe it right for the school system, county, state, etc. I just pray that everyone truly does their homework before they vote. Have any voters ever actually attended a school board meeting and watched school board member in action? Have any voters every actually attended a commissioner's meeting and watched them in action? ETC. It is vitally important to research and be informed...

  8. I wouldn't say Theresa Lyons is a good old boy. She is fair and doesn't always side with all of them. Get to know her first before you judge.

I do know her firsthand....actually sat on Paulding County School Board with her....Kathy West is the name. I know what i'm talking about.

Mr. Randy Cone, You did pull some immature, bully tactics on Steve Dutton and you know it.

Like Newsjunky, I like Theresa Lyons as a person but I don't think she is good for our school board any longer. I'm not going to bash her on this site, however, I will vote for Steve Dutton.

The outsourcing of the custodial positions was the worst mistake ever made. Aramark pays their employees very little and expects them to do more with less personnel and less equipment/supplies. I see firsthand the poor outcome. GREAT custodial staff members that have been in our school system for years, left. They felt betrayed...THEY were just as much a valued member of our school system as the teachers/administrators/etc. They built relationships, made blankets, fed students, clothed students, and on and on. Those folks can never be replaced. Supposedly our school system saved money on this move....at the expense of our schools and students. Poor decision!

  9. Update from Facebook about the young lady....not sure about the young man....

South Paulding Spartans Cheer Club Update (with permission from Tori's aunt)...
Update on Tori Emily: Vanessa and Jerry just spoke to the doctor. No major changes. However that have warned them that this is the "calm before the storm". Her worst days are ahead. As long is they can keep
her temperature, brain pressure, etc. under control, she will be fine. Unfortunately, this is going to be a long process, so they expect her to be here for a while. The family wants to thank every person for the outpouring of support, and most importantly, the prayers. We have felt each and every one of them. Please continue to pray. We love each one of you more than we will ever be able to express. God is good, and we know that He has His hands all over this.

  10. There was a group of trucks with American and Confederate flags gathered in the parking lot in front of Subway in Hiram on Friday night. The Hiram Police were there but left and evidently the group was allowed to stay as they were still there when we left. Not sure if this was the same group. They are all idiots trying to stir up trouble....

  11. Many people don't realize that mental illness is very real in our nation....it is a tremendous problems that MUST be addressed! My daughter works in the field and the system that is SUPPOSED to help them is in shambles. Until this problem is addressed this madness will continue. Policemen have no idea when they are dealing with a person that is mentally ill or perfectly normal. None of us know what we would do in the moment. Yes, there are bad cops, just like there are bad doctors, teachers, judges, lawyers, etc.

Medicines can help the mentally ill if a doctor prescribes it correctly and the patient takes it correctly (if at all). My MIL is schizophrenic triggered by the death of premature twin girls. She was VERY ill for 20 years until her doctor finally found a combination of drugs that helped her. As long as she take these three meds as prescribed she can function as a perfectly normal person. I have seen the transformation. There is hope if everyone would get it together and truly address this plight. If we keep on with business as usual it is only going to get worse.
