We got some pork chops over the weekend and my hubby grilled them~ they are DELICIOUS~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We are planning to go there this summer. I'm sad to say I've lived here all my life and have NEVER been there. I honestly didn't even KNOW about it until I was an adult. Maybe some free advertising?!?! Or someone could take up donations to get them some advertising?

I think just basic education is key. I think a lot of people just don't think about it. Maybe ads in these small papers that go out in the mail would help?? Just a suggestion.

[Anyone got a good cabbage recipe?]

Cabbage Casserole

 

1 med. head of cabbage

1 small onion

2 sticks of butter

1 can of cream of mushroom soup

1 cup of sharp cheddar cheese

1/4 cup of mayo

1 pack of ritz crackers

 

In a casserole dish shred cabbage on bottom of dish, then chop up onion on top of cabbage. Melt 1 stick of butter and pour over this mixture. In a bowl mix soup and mayo together. Spread on top. Melt other stick of butter and crush up ritz crackers and put in butter and add cheese. Spread on top of soup mixture. cookat 350 for 30 to 45 min. till it bubbles.

We have the same problem in Camberley Park. I like to sit on my front porch sometimes to talk on the phone...but it's not possible with these 4-wheelers zooming up and down the road. They're THAT loud! Last year some kids thought it would be fun to do some donuts in my yard....and they took out one of my new trees in the process. I called the cops, but they told me there's really nothing that they can do....BS!

It is not legal for them to be on the road and you can call SO and they will come warn the riders.......however my personal opinion is, if they are riding safely/helmets/not speeding/not reckless/etc then i really dont see the big deal. There are kids riding bicycles/power wheels/skateboards etc in the road and I think with adult supervision(along with the other things I said) then I just dont see the problem with it. As far as the noise well its no louder then lawn mowers/neighbors blasting music/motorcycles/cars honking/ children screaming/dogs barking all night/etc.

Is it legal for kids to be constantly on 4-wheelers/dirt bikes driving up and down the road in a subdivision?? This is getting to be an EVERY day occurence in my neighborhood -- Especially on the weekends.. You can't even have a peaceful home life because of all the noise. I wouldn't mind it if it was occassional but it's starting to be every weekend (I guess with the warmer weather) and not just for an hour or two- it's ALL dang afternoon!!

 

I guess this is life in Paulding! LOL

They had at least 5 at the game stop at the mall in douglasville on Tuesday of this week and they had some at the best buy in Dville and at the game stop over by target. I know because I was looking for the game PITFALL and had to go to all these locations before I found it!
