My daughter is a L&D nurse. I was telling her about this and she said it is possible. Very rare...but possible. If the woman continues having her cycle after she's pregnant she can get pregnant again. She said it's usually really close together, though, like this one...only a couple of weeks.

We had dinner at the Apple Barn in Pigeon Forge. YUMMY!!!!!!

Yeah, we're here in Sevierville, TN, and it's raining very hard here. Has been for several hours. I'm glad it's here and not at home, though, even though our vacation is getting rained on.

I got an e-mail from them saying they had completed the upgrades and the signal should be coming in again. We haven't checked it yet so I don't know if it's back at our house or not. They said if it wasn't to get back in touch with them. Hopefully it is!

I'd like to personally thank the jackass that took the barricade and "road closed" sign down at Morningside Dr & Arnold Ln. This morning we went through there only to have to stop and back up all the way back to Pool Rd because the road is washed out. We saw the sign and cones laying on the side of the road where someone had moved them. GEEZ!!!!!

Thanks alot! I have some of this and it's one of the recalled products.

So does my hubby. He uses Dr. Jeffrey Tharp at East Paulding Primary Care on Hwy 120 in Hiram.

So far, so good. Our house sits up on a hill so we're not getting any flooding in the house. The crawlspace is flooded, though. Our yards look like lakes with trees sticking up out of them.

From what I understand, Hwy 278 is closed from Hwy 92 to Cleburne Pkwy so I don't know if you can go that way. I live on Morris Rd off of Cleburne and it's pretty bad here. There was a car stuck at the intersection of Cleburne & Morris a few hours ago. Be safe!

Yeah, we're wondering about Powder Springs Rd toward Marietta. Hubby needs to get to Lockheed.

Crap! That's right here in my area of Morris Rd!!! Is it a wreck or what?

I live on Morris Rd. It's horrible over here! Emergency vehicle just went past my house with lights & sirens. The rain just started back really hard.

It's really coming a storm here in Hiram. A crack of thunder just about made me jump out of my skin!
-
I know! This could turn into a real big problem. Worries me....

I'm scared to even look in our crawlspace. I know it's completely flooded!!

What sucks is that we can't even look forward to this mess ending anytime soon. Looks like rain for the next 10 days, according to Weather Channel....

My kids are grown now but when they were young I did stuff around the house every evening. I just designated an hour every night to do some type of housework just to keep on top of things. On the nights they had stuff like ball practice, scouts, dance, etc.. I just didn't get alot of sleep.

I give up....

I didn't say I thought she shouldn't be scared. I said this incident would not have scared me. I hate it that someone was shot during a domestic situation and I feel for the children that will be affected by this. I just wouldn't feel threatened with it happening 3 miles from my house. I really don't think my family would have to worry about being caught in the crossfire of a shooting 3 miles away. Now had this happened in my neighborhood then, yes, I would agree with you. I would be a bit uneasy about it.
-
The thing is, this wasn't some random shooting. It was a domestic disagreement that escalated into the shooting. Something like this wouldn't scare me. What would scare me would be if someone was just taking random pot shots at people or if this had been a home invasion by people completely unknown to the victims.

Yeah, I e-mailed them, too, and was told it would be fixed sometime during the week of 9/14 but because of the rain they've been delayed. Mine is still out and no matter how I move my antenna I can't pick it up.

You got it! Sending up prayers for your son, you and the surgical team.
