I put mine in the fridge Saturday night. According to Kraft Kitchens, you need to allow 1 day of thawing time for every 4 pounds of weight. I bought a 24 pounder so that means I need 6 days in the fridge to thaw it out. That won't give it 6 days so I may still end up having to put it in cold water Wednesday evening.

I called Dr. Vaughn's office a couple of weeks ago to get an appt for hubby but they said she wasn't taking new patients. They did, however, tell me her partner, Dr. Jones, was taking new patients but it would be February before she would have an opening. He ended up getting an appt with Atlanta West Dermatology on Mulkey Rd in Austell.

Mike, the Tanner Health System in Villa Rica & Carrollton has it. Call them and see if you can get it there.

You're right, and it's for this very reason I think any healthcare reform that's passed should be for everyone...from the President on down. You can bet if it was there's alot of stuff in there that would be scratched out in a hurry!

There's no charge for calling 911 from any phone.

That's true. When a phone is disconnected (at&t) it will still have a dialtone. The only numbers that can be called from that line is 911 and the at&t business office. This is to provide a "quick connect" at addresses where there is already existing phone wiring if someone moves in there and wants their phone service activated. Hope this helps.

That's what I'm thinking. I would find the ends of the pipes and fill them up with quikcrete. Problem solved...

When my two were younger they couldn't be in the same room with each other more than 3 or 4 minutes without all out war breaking loose. I worried that they hated each other and stressed myself out about it. Fast forward 20 years....now they're the best of friends and so close. I know that doesn't solve the problem you're dealing with right now...just wanted to give you some hope that it will eventually get better.

I bought my Dell computer from Best Buy in August. I had to go to their website and register my computer to qualify for the upgrade. What I didn't know was you have to go back to the Dell website and log in to your account and order the free upgrade disks. I just did that and they're supposedly shipping them. Geez!!!! Let's not make this easy or anything!!!

Not sure exactly what you're looking for but my brother in law has a 1972 VW Beetle that he's pretty much restored that he's wanting to sell for $1500.00 Runs good, straight shift, alot of new stuff on it. Body is good but could use a paint job. It's not terrible...just a bit faded. If you're interested I can have some pics e-mailed to you.

My Mom took me and my 2 sisters every year to ride it. This was back in the early 60's so it was the original Pink Pig. It was so much fun. We would start looking forward to our visit to Rich's right after Halloween. It was attached to a track on the ceiling and went above "Santa Land". Those were the days!!

I heard on Channel 2 news this morning that Paulding County now has some of the injectible vaccine. Seems like it was 2600 doses or so. They said they would be giving the shots at the Health Dept starting today.
