I agree! This just infuriates me!!!! A 12 year old knew exactly what he was doing unless he is mentally handicapped and they haven't said that was the case. This kid just got a free pass to abuse children smaller than he is. No way, no how would I ever want this kid around me or anyone in my family.

Took the day off work today. Gotta be at the lab this morning for routine bloodwork then on to Target & Kohls for some shopping. After I leave there I'll head to Kroger to grocery shop then home to clean house, do laundry and bake cookies for a cookie swap this weekend. Busy day ahead!!! Hope everyone has a great Friday!

My kids are 33 and 27 and I still hang the ornaments they made in elementary school on the tree. I'm anxiously awaiting for ones from Ellie to start coming. They'll be right up there on the tree next to her Mama's.

My daughter, who is a nurse, prefers to give Motrin to Ellie. Sometimes she will alternate between Tylenol & Motrin if Ellie is sick and needs fever or pain reducing meds every few hours but her pediatrician told her that she prefers Motrin.

Our son, age 33, has a Kaiser policy and pays $113.00 per month. It was the best deal he found when he was looking for insurance. He was able to keep his doctor and pays a $30.00 co-pay for office visits. I believe prescriptions are $7.00.

This is why I like the Visa gift cards. They can be used any place that takes Visa so you don't have to worry about the store going out of business that you bought the card for.

My kids love getting gift cards. I usually give the Visa gift cards since they can be used anywhere. If I'm going to give a gift card I want the recipient to be able to buy whatever they want to and not be limited to any one particular store. Alot of Clark Howard's advice needs to be taken with a grain of salt. Alot of his advice is his personal opinion and may or may not work for everyone.

I can't believe that someone who works in the meat department of that grocery store is telling people to leave their turkey out on the counter for 3 days! Someone needs to educate that fella before he causes someone to get very sick.

I don't think I would leave it on the counter for 3 days. That's not safe. Put it in the fridge and if it's not thawed out by Thursday morning you can just soak it in the sink in cold water for a couple of hours and that will finish thawing it.
