When is the election?

When Ellie was around 11 months old she ran a fever and didn't feel good for about 4 or 5 days. When the fever started breaking she broke out in a rash. It was Roseola. I'd take him to the doctor just to be sure there's not something going on with his ears or throat, though. If it's Roseola it will just have to run it's course. Good luck! Hope he's feeling better soon!!

She's already said her boss will be no help at all so I would send it to that person's boss as well. Maybe if they see that the e-mail has been sent to their boss they will be a little more helpful about the situation. At least that's what I've found to be true in my job when I'm dealing with someone that I can't get any help out of.

I would forward the e-mail to your boss and your boss's boss. If the person who sent you the e-mail doesn't have the same boss I would forward it to that person as well. Is this person someone with more authority than you or is she another co-worker on "equal footing"? If she's just an "equal" co-worker I would tell her to go jump!!

I agree. I also wonder what, if any, long term problems this baby is going to have. She is so tiny!!!!

Ours was fairly normal for a really cold month plus it was Christmas so we had the Christmas lights going. $348.00. Our house is total electric. My daughter has gas & electric, though, and she said hers was alot more than it usually is. Someone said they think there was a rate increase....

When my son was about 4 years old he put some crayons in the pocket of his jeans. Well...I was young and dumb and hadn't figured out that I needed to check his pockets before I did laundry. Have you ever seen a bunch of crayons that have been melted in a clothes dryer? Ruined alot of clothes that day but I learned a valuable lesson!!

My kids are grown but when they were younger I had daycare for them. The daycare center would take them to school then pick them up in the afternoons and keep them until I picked them up. On days that school was out they would just stay the entire day at the daycare center. Once they outgrew daycare I would either take the day off work and stay home with them or make arrangements for them to spend the day at a friends' house. After they turned 13 they would just stay home by themselves while we were at work.

That poor kid!!! This is the most horrible thing I've read in a while. Some people just shouldn't be allowed to reproduce!!!!

I put a chuck roast with taters, carrots, onions & celery in the crockpot before I left for work this morning. The house sure smelled good when I got home. YUMMMMM!!!!

I do. Some I pay online and some I mail a check but I take care of paying bills and keeping the checkbook. Hubby asks about once a week how much money we have. Trusting soul, ain't he???

My doctor told me she didn't want to give me generic because it was too hard to get the dosage regulated. The formulary isn't the same so, according to her, you actually have to take a higher dosage with generic than you would need with name brand. Anyway, I found out I can get name brand - Synthroid - from a Canadian pharmacy way cheaper than here in the states so once my dosage is regulated so it doesn't have to change every couple of months I'm going to go that route.

I'm on .075mcg right now. They're still trying to get my dosage right. Started with .050mcg. I've been doing some research and found out I can get Synthroid from a Canadian pharmacy for $34.00 for 100 pills. As soon as my dosage is correct I'm going to order from them. Sucks paying Kroger $25.00 per month for 30 pills!!! That's with insurance, too!!!!

No holiday here...gotta work.

I saw this on the internet news over the weekend. Scary!!! I forwarded it on to my daughter & SIL. Ellie is at that "put everything in the mouth" stage. I would have never thought about this being a hazard.

I had jury duty the week before Christmas and there were 2 or 3 people in the assembly room with laptops. They have a table set up at the front of the room where you can sit and use your laptop.

Crystal & James... I have never met you but be assured that my heart is breaking for you. I don't know how you recover from the death of a child but let me urge you to seek out groups that are experienced in helping people get through this. I prayed for James when I saw the first thread about his illness and will continue to pray for you and your entire family. May God give you the peace, strength and comfort you need in the coming days, weeks, months & years. (((hugs))..
