I grew up in Atlanta and I remember doing this, as well. That was back in the 60's - 70's. I think back then it was more of a "Sunday-Church-Religion" thing because I also remember that nothing opened on Sunday. No grocery stores, department stores, nothing!! Guess I'm telling my age here, huh???

My kids are grown...34 and 28...but I remember my boy was alot harder to potty train than my daughter. All of my friends would tell me that boys were harder to train. Don't stress yourself out too much over it, though. He'll do it when he's ready.

The dang Tide 'bout gave me a heart attack last night!!! They managed to get back in the game and pull it off but if they don't play any better that against Florida they'll be looking at their first loss. ROLL TIDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a friend who has an 11 year old daughter. She definitely knows that it's wrong to beat a baby. I think an 11 year old is way too young to babysit but I also think a child that age knows right from wrong and should be held accountable for their actions.

We bought a Toyota Camry new in 2000. It's a 1999 model. Still driving it with 133,000 miles on it and absolutely love it. It still handles great, no rattles and gets excellent gas mileage. I would buy another Camry.

Me either. Ellie is 27 months old and at her 24 month well check nothing was mentioned about that. I'll have to ask my daughter about it. Edited to add: I posted this before I saw the other post about it only being required for Peach Care & Medicaid.

Not any longer. KSU has built several dorm type apartments on campus so there are alot of students living there now. That school is growing by leaps and bounds. It's not the little commuter school it was several years ago. You should go over there and take a drive around their campus. It's very nice.

My daughter & SIL bought a minivan from them about a year ago. They got a great car at a fair price. From what I understand about Carmax they don't sell junk. You may pay top dollar but you will get a good car.

I agree. Every school has to start somewhere if they're going to have an athletic program. I'm sure all of the big name college football teams weren't so great the first few years they played either. It will take several years but I think they will grow this program and it will do good things for KSU.

I saw them doing that about a month ago. Heck, it didn't look any more dangerous than some of the stuff we did as kids. Looked like fun to me! Lordy, it's a wonder we survived!!!!
