When I first open drive A, I get the message that I need to format the disk before I can use it. When I cancel that message, then I get a message that says A: is not accessible. The disk media is not recognized. It may not be formatted. I have 3 disks with pictures on them and each disk tells me the same thing when I try it in drive A

Yes, my floppy drive is A....then it says to put a disk in and I do. It sounds as though it is uploading but then does nothing. Windows only says that it cannot open the file type. I downloaded a program which installs all different types of file extensions, but that was no help either.

I don't have a clue because they will not open on my computer to see.

I tried that, but I still can't get anything to work. Are there people who can take a floppy and just print out the pictures for you?

I have some pictures on floppy disks from 2009. I bought an external floppy disk drive so I can download them to my computer. Problem: My computer won't open them. I get a message error of Ox8000000a. It is saying that my computer (Windows 7) is not recognizing the file. I have tried all sorts of programs to open them with, with no luck at all. Any suggestions?
