Another couple hiked today out in the very back reaches of the park with nothing. My prayers go out to the CERT team coming in early tomorrow morning. We need some answers.

Tomorrow, the CERT team will be sending all sorts of volunteers out to search Lost Mountain Park for Keith Burns. That is some difficult rescue/recovery work there. Please refrain from going to visit or help tomorrow as per the family's request. Prayers to all. May answers be found.

Bittersweet, but better than having to beg for volunteers. I do not know 'what's next' if they pull up nothing.

BIG NEWS:::: From the FB Page: I just heard from Cobb County Police Department. Sgt. Sorrow (PD) and Sam Peng (CERT) are meeting tomorrow afternoon to go over the details. The plan is to start the search at 730am Thursday morning!!! He will pass additional information to me after the meeting tomorrow. Thanks to the PD and CERT! (This means that the HUGE rescue/recovery team has been activated. It stands for the Cobb Community Emergency Response Team--from my understanding they will set up a command center at the park and there will be a very large effort/search that is much more extens

Thank you for spreading the word! That is correct. He left his home in just enough time to make it to the park. Something happened (we're almost certain) after he parked the truck. There are a lot of theories and suggestions. Please see the FB page for all the details.

It has...no evidence on the 'puter of anything really. And, he was a hiker/nature photographer/astronomer so he would have been going there for a quick hike to check the foliage we're guessing.

That was me...I didn't know that was your office!!! Yes, that has been searched. Plus, if he'd gone the opposite way, the camera on the building would have picked him up. Spent the day passing out TONS Of fliers and got to search the back side of the property in the open fields and old houses again. Also passed out fliers in the subdivision that backs up to the park. Hung some up in various places and talked to people as much as we could. There's just NOT a trace..I don't get it.

Game changer: Apparently the cameras were not adujusted for fall back timing which means he actually arrived at the park at 9:06am!!

IT is EXTREMELY frustrating on our part. ALL They have to do is make a simple call for the SAR dogs, but they will not. IT wouldn't cost them a dime. HEre is the email of the person supposedly over the case...I'm sure if he realized how many people are concerned over this, they might act sooner! Ok, to clarify--the police spent a little time out there when it first happened with a dog or two. NO SAR dogs have been brought to the site.The police will not call them out until it is shown to be foul play. With nothing to go on except a missing person, they won't call the dogs. Yes, we agree that it appears he would walk up the trail/hill/etc, but you can't assume anything with a case where you have nothing to base on. YES the park has been searched. I'm not sure exactly what you're getting at, but the camera is posted on a light post outside the tennis courts. It takes shots when it detects large movement.

Somebody inverted colors and enlarged, but it is just still a low resolution photo-hard to clean up what is bad to start with . If anybody wants to see the FB page-a post was just made with the 'facts' of things we do know at this point.
