  1. A vehicle 2 cars in front of me struck a person walkin down the road with their dog. It's been said that owner is okay, however, the dog did get scared and slipped his collar. He is a tan medium size dog. Someone said he looks like a pit mix and his name is Tripp.
  2. I am still trying to wrap my head around my kindergarteners school (Carroll county) has shrimp for lunch, which shes allergic to...
  3. People were having a hard time going up the hill after you pass West Sandtown Road (I think thats the name) and before the racetrac.
  4. I have looked for years and never have found one.
  5. I use them all the time for pictures, photobooks, and coffee mugs. Never have had an issue and its cheaper, to me, than going to CVS or something.
  6. Thats the new area code around this area. I purchased my mom an ATT gophone, and she got the 470 area code, I just called them and asked for a 770 or 678 area code and they switched it with no problems.
  7. PAULDING COUNTY, Ga. — A post circulating on Facebook is tying up dispatchers at Paulding County's 911 call center. The post that's being shared and reposted over and over urges people to dial 112 to verify police stops if they fear they're being pulled over by a police impersonator. Dispatchers and a sheriff's office spokesperson told Channel 2's Carl Willis that it's having real-life effects and jamming up emergency operators. "Basically, it's tying everyone up," said Paulding County sheriff's Cpl. Ashley Henson. Read the rest of the story here: Facebook posting tied to jam-up of 112 calls- WSBTV.COM
  8. I, personally, think the reason people seem to be too trigger happy to most of us is the fact that its being televised more. Used to we would only hear about the "major" shooting, but now it seems you turn on the news or go to a news site and all they talk about is each and every incident involving guns. Back to the original topic, I am very familiar with my gun and how to operate it. If you are in my home and I feel you are a threat to me and/or my child, I will take whatever measures need to be taken to make sure you are no longer a threat.
  9. HON is a Wholesaler which only sells to Furniture Dealers, much like the Office Furniture company I work for. I deal with Furniture Dealers all day, everyday. Let me know if you cant find exactly what you are looking for online and I can refer you to some incredible dealers!
  10. Thank you, I appreciate all the information you have given me.I dont understand why they are doing this to begin with, also doing this is tampering with my property. I will keep you updated.
  11. Yes, thank you. I will be taking care of this quickly, I do not want anything to get killed (and it looks ugly with now water, because its fairly big). My husband is going to go out and take pictures first thing in the morning, so that when I call I can also send pictures to show.
  12. Thank you. Before you edited your post I seen you name the Paulding County Engineer. That helped me, because I was able to look at who Carroll Counties is, as well, and I see somethings on line that I can read about this on the .gov site.
  13. See that is what I was thinking. I live in Carroll County, do you think they manage them here as well? Thank you.
  14. The end of everyone whos property is around the spring/pond/lake's property line meets in the middle. So technically the neighbor is digging both theirs and my property.
  15. First I want to start off saying, we have a natural spring in the woods by my house that feeds into a pond in my back yard, then my pond feeds into a bigger lake. We have noticed that here lately the pond has been loosing water, so my husband went to see if he could find what the issue was... Of course it was beavers. Before my husband could knock the dam down, the pond started filling back up with water. This morning my husband woke up and went outside and noticed, once again, the pond is low. He walked around and noticed that the neighbors (through the woods), has been digging and placing pipe to direct the natural spring to go around my pond and then feed in the bigger lake. There is LOTS and LOTS of fish in this pond that now will probably die. I know my first option is to go to said neighbors house to see what is going on, and maybe discuss a plan that would fit all of our needs. If this does not work, I wanted to know if anyone had any idea of who I could call to try and get this straightened out. Any and all information/advice is greatly appreciated!!

    Mud Bog

I,personally, just do not like how he runs things. That's the best way to sum it all up. I'm not going to bash him or his business, I just will not support him/it anymore either.

    Mud Bog

Yep, the one in Talapoosa was wonderful yesterday. Lots and lots of people there!! I heard that Wesley only had 200 people show up today at his mud ride..... I wasnt there, as I will not go to any more of his rides. But to answer the original question... the rain does make it a little more fun, but we are always under some kind of tent to stay out of the rain. The cold is what I hate... but there are always controlled fires (in a barrel) to keep you warm.
  18. My Opinion the cherries taste like (the smell of) pure rubbing alcohol! Have a whole jar in the fridge and I havent been able to pay anyone to eat them! Yes, the recipe that is posted is not moonshine by any means! I get the real apple pie moonshine about 4 times a year. Someone made this recipe for me a while back and it was no where near close. Exactly!!
  19. Thank you. Also, thanks to everyone else who gave me information.
  20. The do is tied to the tree limb often or left outside to stroll the neighborhood. Their entire backyard is fenced in, but like I said the grass back there is as tall as the fence. Yes, it does bother me. There are cars going up and down this street all day. It is a hassle to have to wait behind all the cars if another one is coming towards me, in order for me to get to my own driveway. This is not a once in a blue moon type ordeal, it is every single day. I do not know what the issue is pulling in and parking in the driveway when there isn't a single car parked in it. Also, I do not like having random cars parked in front of my home day in and out.
  21. I thought about it, but I wanted to go about it the right way. I would hate to waste the time of the sheriffs office each time they are parking there. You know?
  22. Thank you. It just gets very aggravating, because it is usually not one car it is usually about 3 or 4. There is always room in the driveway...
  23. Yes, when they parked there I did, they looked at me like I was stupid and continued to the house... Here is a picture of where they are parked, which is in front of my house: Hopefully this will work.
  24. Who can I contact about a neighbor and their guest that park in the street (not even a quarter of their tires on the curb/grass) and its in front of my home. They are parked in front of my home right now and there is not one single car parked in the driveway? Also, this same neighbor has grass as tall as the fence in the back yard, because they never cut their grass. AND they tie their dog to a tree limb (not the tree trunk a limb up in a tree). I know I can contact animal control, but who can I contact about the grass (tired of the rodents) and who can I contact about the cars? Thanks in advance for any and all help!
