Does anyone on here know who the contact person is for the Kades Cove homeowner's association?

I took a huge pay cut about 10 years ago to be a teller at a bank and it was totally worth it. It can open the door to so many opportunities.

I had been trying to get in touch with them for about week. This post reminded me I needed to try again. I just called and they answered. They said they are still having troubles but they are in a remote location and the phones are working now.

I did not read every post on here so someone may have already mentioned this. There was a referendum passed in 2006 which became effective with tax year 2007. House Bill 848 approved an exemption from all state property taxes for persons 65 or older. The exemption is equal to the amount of state tax levy for the residence and up to 10 acres of land surrounding the residence.

The daycare my son goes to opened today, but they were apparently one of the only ones. The state called them in the middle of the day and told them they had to close because of the boil water advisory.

I came down 61 from Cartersville all the way from the airport to the Courthouse and it was fine about an hour or so ago but it wasn't really raining at that point either. When I when I drove to Cartersville this morning it was pouring down rain and there were a lot spots with standing water so if it is raining when you come through there be very careful.

Colonial Bank received their first cease and desist in March or April I believe and they were just taken over by the FDIC and bought by BB&T a week ago.

I believe the tax credit is $8,000 but it cannot be applied to your down payment. You have to close on the home and then if you have already filed your 2008 tax returns you can have them amended for the tax credit. You have to close on the home by a certain date, I believe it is Nov 30th. Double check all of this with a tax consultant.
