  1. Our thoughts and prayers are with you Roger and Debbie. Such a tragedy. Pat and Ellen Fincher
  2. Sorry to see you pass so young Ricky. Your children grieve for you. We laid you to rest in the shade this sunny afternoon in the valley with the family.
  3. They have been making the best BBQ and hamburgers as long as I can remember. I think it opened in the early 60's. I don't mind the building at all, in fact I like it very much. At least something around here hasn't changed.
  4. Me and the grandson went to get our hair cut this morning. Breakfast at WH then the usual Wally Mart trip. This evening I went to a friend's surprise 60th birthday party. Great fun.
  5. The nearest one is in Dallas. Just past the courthouse on the left. 4.5 miles from New Hope to Dallas.
  6. Went to IKEA and Piedmont Hospital today. Shopping at one and visiting sister in law at the other. Being lazy now.
  7. Rest in peace Mrs. Crowe. You will always be remembered fondly.
  8. I like to make $$$$. Does that count?
  9. I like to go to Cave Springs and fill jugs of water there. It is FREE and such a nice place to visit.
  10. Smart water has electrolytes added. It is very good too.
  11. Come on over and clean on my house some. I have taken 2 naps this weekend and done all the laundry. The ironing awaits. Would you believe the sun just came out at my house???
  12. Absolutely NO vinegar smell. 1 cup per rinse. White vinegar.
  13. Sorry to hear of Danny's passing Tona. I never knew you were cousins.
  14. I have used white vinegar in my rinse for towels and whites for 33 years. The Dr. said to use it on my baby's clothes and diapers for her sensitive skin. No more rash. I do not use the baking soda because it is not a liquid.
  15. I went and stayed for a little while. Ate my usual vegetable plate, bought picutres of Paulding history from Joyce (every year), went by and hugged Johnny and Pubby. Ed was quiet. 2 big bags of kettle corn. One for the guys at work and one for us.
  16. Chicken and dressing with gravy. Just like Thanksgiving without the turkey!
  17. Was it an older model Explorer?
  18. Hey Lady. I am still around and still cook a few things about once a month. I am working a lot lately but so thankful to have a job. There is a hen boiling on the stove for some dumplings this weekend. Did you know Rodney's has a special on their steaks this weekend? If you like ribeyes, go. Maybe when I retire in a few years I will open a restaurant. Very small, just me cooking.
  19. We went there once and were not that impressed. The food was good but I thought is was overpriced for the quantity. Maybe we should try again.
  20. We just got back from eating our delicious steak. Thanks you guys at Rodneys. It is always wonderful.
  21. We will be there! I bet it will be as delicious as the Valentine's steak we shared there. YUM 6:00PM, medium well, baked potatoes (1 loaded), salads with Thousand Island and 2 waters with lemon (one with lots of lemon)
  22. I am so sorry to hear of Darlene's passing. If I can do anything for you or your family Johnny, you know you can call.
  23. They grew up in the old "Mill Village" in Dallas where I was also raised. Wonderful family, all of them. Our sympathy to the family.
