You must not have been hugged enough because you are one angry adult. I don't have little violins playing to make my childhood seem sad, thanks. I have a history of mental illness in my family that I was fortunate enough not to have. I strive to make my home the best it can be for my children. It is what it is and my mother needed medication, but for whatever reason, didn't get the help she needed then. You see, when you have an mental illness, you don't think clearly. Reason & logic do not apply.

Poor excuse of mental problems?? Wow. Guess you never lived with someone who is manic. Guess you never lived with a parent who used to stay in their bedroom crying for weeks and the kids had to search through piles of laundry that may or may not be clean to wear to school. Let's not forget the little trails you had to walk through in the house...

yup, we take ours down to Cedar Mtn since we live in south Paulding. We keep containers in the garage for all of our recycling and put it in the truck & take it down.

OMG, same here. I do NOT want to be remembered on the back of your car windshield. I don't want a grave (but I know ppl need that sort of closure). I want to be cremated after they take anything out of me that can be donated and fry me up and fertilize a gardenia bush with me. Gardenias are my FAVE!!

I am not religious and I would hate to know someone marked the site of my death. How about marking the site of something that I loved and held close to my heart? I would LOVE to have a stretch of the Silver Comet Trail that had drinking fountains for dogs or like that of Tara Drummond. Who really cares where you die, it's what you loved & cared about that will make me remember.

There are so many children living like this that slip through the cracks. These kids don't know what a clean house is. Where are the family members who knew about this or neighbors? There are people who know about this but don't want to get involved. Maybe the parents weren't on drugs but have a mental illness. Been there & done this.

Have you been? They have a cool cigar shop indian too. It's a smoking lounge too, if that's your thing. Unfortunately you can smell it in the dance studio next door. Hopefully they can get that straightened out asap.

My daughter wasn't interested in driving until the end of last school year. She's 17 already but only has her permit. She does okay. I've noticed that I've been consuming more cocktails than normal as a result. :wacko:

My lil one came home from Granny's with a shirt from Justice that is hypercolor. I remember when those came out when I was in high school and I'd go to Upton's and leave my hand prints all over them.

well, you know, I don't like to talk about how many crabs I've had. Oh, I also found two whole sand dollars in the water! I've never found a whole one. The shells on the beach were HUGE too. My dh flies to Turks & Caicos often...we're going together one of these days.

thanks! It's great to have a father in law who has two houses in great locations!! We were there two weeks ago and a crab pinched me in the water..made me bleed. I got CRABBED.

friendship pins!!! Did you wear them on your fat-boy shoelaces?? I know I did! We also used to have lots of buttons with sayings on them..stupid stuff like, "I'd kill for chocolate". I remember in high school we would grow our pinky nails out (NOT FOR THAT) but to pierce them with tiny hoop earrings. Seems so stupid now. Oh, and who didn't go to Spencer's for a best friends break apart heart necklace or charms for their charm necklace???
