I have three of the meanest hummingbirds ever. They dive bomb one another, and they are THIRSTY! I used to have a one legged cardinal who came to the feeder all the time. He looked like he'd been at a bar all night long then stumbled up on the porch to get some seeds. I don't think he is still alive.. Poor thing, he was rough looking.

oh crap.. I didn't think about that. Thanks fer saving my life. He'd bury me in someone else's yard...so it won't mess the grass.

They are gorgeous!! I'm heading out to walmart later to get a thistle feeder & thistle! I have a regular feeder but the squirrels were so bad and we were going through seed like crazy. Then I bought a suet feeder. Those things last forever but my giant woodpecker doesn't like it so he's been away for a few weeks. Oh shut up, lol. I just wanna help it which means I'll probably kill it.

IT IS SMOKING AND I DON'T LIKE IT. I kid, I kid. Seriously, looks like a parakeet maybe? Of course I want to catch it...and hold it. It likes my house, my flowers and the yard but I am too scared to get too close to it. I need a picture. It's mostly bright yellow with black on the wings. If you buy these birds and then for some reason they are set free on purpose or by accident, can they survive? I'm clueless about birds, I just know how to accidentally kill them.

my dr just switched me today from cymbalta to lexapro. I'm having some issues after 8 months of cymbalta. I took celexa for years but then got off it. Now it's time to wean off the cymbalta.

dh went out at dark to spray sevin and moths were flying everywhere and floppin all over the lawn. Hundreds of them. It looked like it was snowing when they were flying. blech.

Don't forget these kids know nothing different so they are upset and missing their family, no doubt. It's not like they said, "Hey! Now's our chance to be clean and not live in filth!" Just for the sake of argument think if someone took your kids and put them in this situation w/o you. They'd be scared to death, miss you like crazy & maybe not know how to take it all in. Just wondering bc when dh is in Mexico or Canada eh, we thought he could use the gv number to call home & it be on the cheap, but he is still charged by sprint for making the call to his gv number, so you aren't saving any money. Makes me so cornfused. I've read that it works great with the droid! It's the number I put on my fb but no one ever calls me anyway. I'm more of a texting kind of girl. :nolife:

Just watched a clip on wsbtv.com about the problem dh is having with HIS lawn. We thought it was too dry, then too wet..the neighbor called & said to watch the news and sure enough he went outside to water again & there were moths.
