  1. It's great to see these men out of that mine. But really makes me happy is that so many nations worked together to make this happen.
  2. As a B.C. survivor I am all for the American Cancer Society receiving the funds from the NFL. Frankly when I was going through treatment they were a huge help. I'm not happy about their stand on self examination, but I understand where they are coming from. Thanks Anita for offering these stickers.
  3. Check out the recipe on the Bisquick box. It's the only one I will use. I like to add cheddar cheese to mine. I've never made them in a crock pot. Not to sure it will get hot enough. Oh yeah, make um small, they fluff up.
  4. Dear Brett. I stuck by your side all those years in Wisconsin. Wore that silly cheese hat and tried to look good in gold and green. I was there when you retired, and came back, and retired and came back. I should have read the writing on the wall then that you were fickle. I just can't live with a man who changes his mind like he changes his underwear. I'm sending pics. to the Manning boys. They seem much more honest and sincere. I understand you are hurt. Try and move on. It's better this way. Best of Luck, PauldingMom
  5. There have been times in my life when I didn't see the sunrise due to the clouds in my eyes. Those have lifted and I can see much clearer these days.
  6. Love is missing each other when you are apart and cherishing the time you are together.
  7. Hoot Hoot!!! I felt very proud of our boys in pink this weekend.
  8. Any adult with possession of a gun should be made responsible for that gun 100%. If it's stolen, taken by a household member or what ever, I feel it's the responsibility of the owner. Keep them locked up and bolted to the foundation as far as I am concerned. Make one key to the lock and have it fused to your thigh bone. I'm fed up with irresponsible gun owners especially when children are concerned.
  9. As a one year Survivor I tip my hat off to all of you who are supporting this cause. It truly warms my heart to see PINK everywhere I go. I know that my two young adult daughters are very aware of self examination but I am amazed at how many of their young adult women friends are not. With young ladies developing at a younger and younger age it is probable that BC will be found in younger and younger women. Hopefully the exposure during October will encourage women everywhere to do monthly exams, and do them correctly, and get yearly mammograms at age 40 or earlier if a family history exi
  10. Sure is allot of advice here. I just and an Epidural last week for the same problem, but mine was caused by the effects of chemotherapy on my nerves. The only medication I found useful was Hydrocodone prescribed by my doc. I was on something stronger for a while but didn't like the side effects. Chiropractor and deep massage didn't do a thing for me. Heating pad, 20 mins. on and 20 mins. off, gave only a little relief. Something in your back is pinching one of the nerves. Until that stops pinching and the nerve has time to heal it will continue to hurt. Douglasville hosp. gave me a ste
  11. BlessedMom-we have a shared friend. I am sure she was pretty shaken up by this. I'm so glad she didn't get physically harmed in the incident. My prayers go out to this whole family. This is very scary stuff.
  12. Ours has a maintenance fee of about $350 a year and property taxes. We split the price with my sisters and we all share the points. It has worked out pretty well, but I wouldn't do it again. Almost impossible to sell.
  13. Where can I get one of those for my kid's party?
  14. Word I heard was that the white car pulled out in front of the red truck. Driver of truck taken to hospital with knee injury. Driver of white car also take to hospital with cuts from glass. Luckily there weren't more injuries. A very bad wreck.
  15. Something with Obama cowardly hiding from Bill O'Reily, Glenn Beck and Fox News? Michelle in different vacation destinations?
  16. I had a hummingbird in my garage the other day. He couldn't find his way out. So I caught him in a butterfly net. I bought him in the house and put him in an empty cage I had for just a few minutes so the children could see him. It was so darn cute. Wish I had taken a picture but he was so scared I just let him go.
  17. If you are driving, pack one suitcase with a case of water. Then use the empty suitcase for your souvenirs. Depending on your location, book with local groups as opposed to the cruise company. Check them out on cruise critic.com
  18. My son saw in L.A. Glad to hear it's here in GA. Can' wait to see it.
  19. The mom is an moron. She should just feed her kid before she comes and tell princess that she can kindly say, "No thank you, I just ate." She should have never asked you this question and hopefully she is reading this and will catch on that the world does not revolve around her childs desires.
  20. Finally a great Italian Rest. back in Hiram. No more driving out to Marietta Diner or Douglasville. This is sure to be our new favorite place.
  21. I hope this works for American Idol. This one Rocker that spans the generations. I hear lots of Don't Wanna Miss A Thing being sung this year.
  22. Sorry, but GROSS thinking of all those itchy little fingers and all those scabs. Get well soon Duggars.
