Luke Garrett (Gary) Lee, Jr

Recommended Posts

Is he related to the Gary Lee that had the motor cycle accident not too long ago? I've been away for a while, maybe I missed another thread on this individual?

Prayers for the family - it's so hard to loose a loved one around the holidays. :(

This is Gary Lee, Peace .. he died over the christmas holiday.

When I first saw this, I thought of "Luke Garrett" (I think his last name was Garrett) in Austell, the short man that use to drive the golf cart with the plastic sides (rain shields) and had it decorated with POLICE insignia. Maybe it was an Honorary Badge, a yellow light on top, I think. I use to pass through Austell 2 times a day but, that was 15 yrs ago. I wonder how he is doing or if he is still alive.

My thoughts are with this Family.

He is still alive, he is 63 years old. He rides a three wheel bicycle now with a top on it, Austell won't let him have anything motorized now.

I'm saddened by this news and my thoughts and prayers are with family and friends of Gary. I haven't been back in Paulding County long - but I would NEVER forget the smile on Gary's face. It was from his eyes to his lips and what joy he could show. I haven't seen him in many Many years- but I will Always have in my my memories. He made my youth what it was in lots of ways .

Did anyone on here attend the funeral today? I heard them dispatch the SO for the escort from the funeral home today at 2:30 while I was listening to the scanner. My heart just ached for the family.

Very beautiful and moving funeral. I never met Gary Lee, but I cried when his friends and family spoke. The music and scriptures were beautiful. The bikes following the funeral car were awsome! I understand he would've loved that!
