Mr. Jerry L. Clark, age 66, of Marietta, passed away on Sunday, August 20, 2006. He was born on January 31, 1940 in Atlanta to the late George and Gertrude Clark. He was a retired supervisor at Lockheed and was a member of Roswell Street Baptist Church. Mr. Clark was an Army veteran and a member of the Elks Club #1657 of Marietta and the American Legion Post #29 in Marietta. He was preceded in death by his sister, Donna Ayers.

Surviving are his wife, Sue Clark; a son and daughter-in-law, Rusty and Cheryl Clark of Franklin, GA; step-sons and daughters-in-law, Stanley and Susan Hale of Chattanooga, TN, Randy and April Hutchins of Austell, GA, Tommy Hutchins of Dallas, GA and Leslie and Bonita Hutchins of Flintstone, GA; a brother and sister-in-law, Rev. Sam and Wanda Clark of Hiram, GA; a sister and brother-in-law, Patsy and William Kennard of Stone Mountain, GA; 2 grandchildren; 9 step-grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 23, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. from Clark Funeral Home in Hiram, GA with Rev. Sam Clark, Pastor Greg Kennard and Pastor Neil Awbrey officiating. The interment will follow in Paulding Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Clark Funeral Home in Hiram, GA in charge of arrangements.
